    thank you and yes, the ego doesn't go away it now steps down and serves my heart.

  • @ePowerMe

    it's a process for sure. it starts with listening to your heart and not others opinions, views and fears. i detached from all my material possessions last year. self-acceptance and compassion towards others is another way. patients and time is key.

    thank you! i had one of the worse years of my life in 2008 and ended up loosing everything i owned, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. all of the stress associated with the material causes unhappiness, when we let it and the pressure we put on ourselves go we are free =)

    @duskie0o0 b/c i wanted to, i wear very little makeup, this wasn't about becoming a nun this was about detaching from my hair/image and being ok with each stage of growth and not wish it to be different since i couldn't change it. it was a huge act and opened me up to being more of who i truly am.

  • @ePowerMe

    @brinker806 thank you, i loved being bald but the practice has been having patience for growth and not wishing it to be different at each stage of growth, so it's slowly growing

    @ePowerMe observe as the ego plays you now as the woman who has cut off her hair, who listens to her heart, who detached from material possessions, who practices self acceptance and compassion and who practices patience. The ego is the voice in your head that thinks it is you and will live IT'S life as you in whatever you do until YOU recognize the difference between you and it and take your life back.

    Wow, you have such a pretty face! I admire your spiritual strength, too. I think of the disparity between what I ought/want to be and what I am about 99% of the time. Naturally, this immediately brings unhappiness. Fortunately, I do have moments in which I am absorbed in making a video or some other constructive activity.

    @lakerpuck i didn't shave my head to feel better...it was about how it didn't change how i felt about myself. it doesn't matter. what matters is how i take care of my mind and body and for the right reasons (not to be skinny for society or look like Hollywood but for my own conscious evolution). so keep on your health journey for yourself based on how it makes you feel. you can learn more at on my Samui Healing website.

    She is on eof the most self- actualized persons I have ever met in my 50 years of living. And ironically, said humbly; we are physically beuatiful according to Western thinking. And we both don't feel that embracement of this.
    Ego. A stange word.

    Wow, this is actually cool. All this stuff about cleansing. I always cut my hair really short because I just don't want to deal with it and I'm actually going to buzz it off soon. So in a way, I've never really been uncleansed in this category. Haha.

    @ePowerMe It is important to see that ego is not serving IT"S heart.

  • @Locbui1989
    @Locbui1989 13 років тому

    @ePowerMe don't get me wrong, i understand how you feel about shaving your head and how its "Ego Cleansing" but I just think people would prefer to see your long beautiful hair. Because at the beginning of the clip I actually thought you were Really Hot.

  • @ePowerMe
    @ePowerMe  13 років тому

    @Locbui1989 you are really missing the point, cleansing the ego is about doing things for your highest good and moving away from what other people think and how you "should" look and live. beauty comes from the inside. hair is impermanent and changes, all that matters is how you feel on the inside and what you focus on that matters to the heart.

  • @ePowerMe
    @ePowerMe  13 років тому

    @Locbui1989 why does it matter so much?

  • @rac717
    @rac717 15 років тому

    You had pretty hair, Elicia. As long as you like it and you don't start a crazy trend, I guess. I love long hair on women, as you may have guessed. There is nothing innate about beautiful hair that needs to be "cleansed"! In fact, there is nothing more full of nature and blossoming than long hair on a chick.

  • @ePowerMe
    @ePowerMe  14 років тому

    @tvc18 stay tuned :)

  • @livenowdoing

    If cleansing ourselves of the ego were only so easy as cutting off our hair... all our problems would all be eliminated with a few clips from the scissors.

  • @lakerpuck
    @lakerpuck 14 років тому

    ok, so instead of going to the gym and working on becoming more healthy, I should just accept that I'm getting older and accept how I am. After all, that is my true self. I guess I'm saying that it's ok to try and make yourself look better. It doesn't cause me any stress,and, in fact, it's clinically proven for health and psyche. So why do you have to shave your head to feel better about yourself. It must be on there for a reason. This coming from a guy who likes your shaved head.

    Before, the next time, somebody greets you, as to “how you are doing” try being happy, inspired, and motivated before they do. Self- mutilation is not a means to elevate the sate of your total being. I first notice, the first thing you said was “I” I feel the inner power of
    my love, happiness etc. Yeah, that’s great; but, are you taking pause to
    consider, will the rest of the universe feel your happiness, love, etc? You
    see, cutting your hair is just another form of flexing your ego/carnal mind,
    which, by the way is within you. All your really doing, as many do, is,
    changing externally in order (actually just hoping) to prosper within. If want
    real power from both within and outward, ask yourself, what is my intention to,
    be, have, want beautiful hair? Your HAIR is part of how divine intelligence has
    created your outward appearance that reflects beauty in the current reality,
    and beauty attracts beautiful people, places and things to you. Now, ask
    yourself what will you do with all of the beautiful people, places, and things
    when they arrive to meet you? Will you intend
    to preserve, prosper, and increase their value and well being or will you adorn yourself
    only, with their appreciation for baldness or otherwise?

    @silverchalice57 from The Celestine Prophecy:
    The more we stay connected, the more we are acutely aware of those times when we lose connection, usually when we are under stress. In these times, we can see our own particular way of stealing energy from others. Once our manipulations are brought to personal awareness, our connection becomes more constant and we can discover our own evolutionary path in life, and our spiritual mission, which is the personal way we can contribute to the World.

    @realar Dear desteni follower,
    If you honestly look at the basic assumptions of the desteni theories you will notice that it is nothing else than just another mystical, kabalah based system of belief.
    Please, forget the labels.
    No. 1 issue is equality, right?. Please, answer this question. What will happen to life when we are all equal? Life will stop as everything will be one. Any change, any movement means there is no one as change requires opposition. One unfortunately equals death...
