I don’t know how this came into my feed four and a half years later. I feel like I never hear people talk about the generation gap, and how a lot of younger people really are more accepting of being gay/lesbian/trans/ whatever I’m missing. I’m bi, and I have never told a soul that I know personally. I tried to give my mom hints without being blatant and saying, “Mom, I like girls, too.” The sad thing is that she knows what I’m trying to say, and still says it’s a phase at 26. And, it doesn’t necessarily matter that she’s 63; she should love her daughter regardless instead of pretend that a part of her kid doesn’t exist. Whatever, I’m ranting to no one who will ever pay attention to this. I’m just happy that your family finally accepted you. I hope the same of my mom
