    Videos like these always makes me think I really should go and check my saws to see if they still start.

    Great video man! Im working on the same saw right now. I like bringing these old workhorses back to life, instead of buying the new saws. After the 133 is done, ive got a 143 that is next inline to be on the bench :)

    They made a 144 with Sachs 5.8ci 95cc and 153 6.1ci 100cc versions. That is the 5.2ci 85cc

    Buckin Billy would love to get his hands on that saw, I think.

    That thing is a tank with a chain attached. Lol. Sounds like it runs pretty darn good. I'm going to have to weigh my 044 with 20" bar for comparison now. No vibration dampening in handles I assume probably get some tingling in the hands after a while. Its pretty neat you've put it back to work.

    • @sprucestomper
      @sprucestomper  Рік тому

      Id be curious to know what you found for weight comparison. Oh she leaves your whole body vibrating for sure.

      @@sprucestomper I looked it up the 044 is 70cc and the powerhead supposedly weighs 13lbs. With a 20" bar and chain, mine weighs in at 19lbs. The saw is about 30 years old roughly. It has cut a lot of wood over the years. Only things it's ever needed are a fuel pickup in tank, clutch and drive sprocket. The handle has been reinforced with plastic epoxy as the handle tried to crack when it fell off my 4-wheeler. Lol

      Ya maybe a guy just gets part of a bad batch, who knows. You'd like to think that when you buy brand new product it will work.

      Gotta go back in the channel and see who it is. There’s a few equipment videos and septic system installs that are a good time.

    I've got 3 133's and a 133 Super. If it's cold they are easier started if you heat them at a fire and of course a scoot of carb cleaner in the air intake always helps. over 2hp more than the 395xp and MS061 for at least half the money. Same carb as the Husqvarna 288XP & 294/5XP

    • @sprucestomper
      @sprucestomper  7 місяців тому

      Good to know about the carb being the same, thank you. Can't beat a classic, heavy and full of power. Thanks for watching.
