- It's the last part of our trip before we head back to Australia. We're in Cebu and we ate lots of new things... we even got Mitch and Dazz to try a few.

i get the feeling hanging out with andy is quite a bit of fun. people like that are fantastic, my wife is a bit similar, she says she has never been bored one day in her life
it's so cute when Mitch and Dazz tried the brain like adorable little kids with the clapping, like you guys did it yay... and the joke after. the most basic couple ever. but i wouldn't try it either lmao so that makes me one.

Food! Food! And more food ! All looks and sounds delish. As much fun as it’s been, I’ll bet you’ll be glad to be back home. Thanks for the tour :)). Btw, growing up in England we ate all of these organ meats. Brain, heart, sweetbreads etc. if I recall correctly, most were cooked up with onions the same as liver often is. Maybe some were cooked with sherry?

0:51 I wondered why she wouldn't eat chicharon but she will eat lechon, then she said at 1:24 it's ruffled fats. so here's the thing...
Chicharon is actually crispy pork rinds, it's just pork skin(and sometimes with fat and meat -- the more expensive chicharon). Ruffled fats however is pork intestine's mesentery cooked the same way as chicharon so it's called Chicharong Bulaklak (flower chicharon) coz it looks it blooms when cooked or Ginabot in Visayan

One of my unachievable dreams, due to getting old and broke😅 is to eat lechon cooked in one of the villages just outside of Cebu. Cooked over fire, hand turned and put together by one of the local aunties. My dying dream.

Lechon cant be too different elsewhere. Well except those who have no respect for tradition, stuffing lechon with seafood and other ridiculous commercial attempts.
It’s always impressive when foreigners are willing to try the local cuisine, hurdling culture conceptions.
