Why modern jazz? Why not modern Lambada? Lambada comes from old dance style like the one that is called Castle Maxixe in US

Great performance but if it didn't say Zouk how would you know it's Zouk. Didn't recognize one basic Zouk step. Same for West Coast Swing comps, basic elements barely exist unless a Jack and Jill
Acredito seriamente que tanto ele como ela, tentam e PASSAM ao publico o total dominio sobre a danca...Assim nao sendo necessario "tomar" conta dos movimentos realizados pelo outro. Deve ser isto, nao estou certo.

+Joseph Heupel I am sure West coast swing its a lot like others dances that came before it as I am sure Castle Maxixe is a lot like Brazilian Maxixe ( Lambada comes from)from 19 century.

Dançam bem,mas ficou muito "estrangeirados"Muito teatral,muitas acrobacias e se esta Larissa for a mesma Larissa que dançava com o MAX,perdeu um pouco a essencia do Zouk que era mesmo uma dança corporal!
+Calita Sama MB Ocampos Ola Calita, nao sou a mesma Larissa que dançava com o Max, danço com o Kadu desde o inicio da minha carreira no zouk, temos outras coreografias que expressam sentimentos diferentes, umas com mais pegadas que outras, entao e so a forma de interpretar a musica e essa musica em particular agente achou que exigia movimentos mais fortes e mais acrobacias. Eles dançam muito, mas pude observar em outros videos que eles fazem os mesmos passos em todas o ritmos apresentados.Tem mais acrobacias..., nem parecem que são brasileiros. perdem um pouco a criatividade.
São muito bons, pena que o Kadu olha mais para a frente do que para a parceira...
I do not like them. Some movements are very beautiful but it is not more zouk. They do not have naturalness, sensuality, feelings. They do not look at each other as they dance. Each of them is looking for the public and saying ... "You guys saw what I did?"
This is the reason why I do not like performance.
I have no issue with that. It is connection with the audience. The dance is outward instead of inward. In theater we have what's known as the invisible wall -- a lot of actors are trained to either see the wall (and ignore the audience, as in a theatrical performance), or acknowledge the audience if the purpose is to do so. Neither is wrong. It just depends on the show-- magicians and dancers often have to ignore the invisible wall, especially in dances such as ballet.
To me this is normal and was a normal choice to ignore the invisible wall.
They have to appeal to an audience used to Ballroom and great technique.Brazilian social dancing is great for pleasure and entertainment but looks crap as a performance for competitions.
Esse traje dele é horroroso!!!! Não ajuda nos movimentos e não é nada sensual. Péssima escolha.
