Our walmart in LI new York is madness. The isles are so crowded & the lines are so long, usually 2 checkout people & 8-10 self check outs. Can't wait to be so happy when we get there.
Great video today. Have been to the yard art place. Truly amazing stuff there. Linda, I advise you not to get the firecracker bushes. I had 5 of them. They are very messy, hard to clip and mine had hornets nests in them. I finally dug them all out! I listen to music thru my phone while driving my cart. The volume is only loud enough for me to hear. Makes the ride more enjoyable. Loved Gizmo’s jokes. And, I solved the word scramble! 😀

My late husband was a union man, and worked as a frozen food manager for a local supermarket chain. He would never shop at Walmart. When I moved here, I ordered a clock from Walmart. When I was trying to mount it on the kitchen wall, my dishwasher turned on by itself. My husband was trying to send me a message

Your camera placement on the cart rides is perfect .. facing forward. Some others have started to face the cameras pointed to the side . ..its not natural and is annoying. Great video.... keep up the good work.
Funny that you showed the upside down pineapple because I happen to know what that means lol.
Instead of waiting until you're back at you're cart too switch bags, take your bags in the store. At register take them out & place cold items in you're bags. Saves you time & you are not double handling items. Less chance of breaking. Love watching you both.
My Mom lived in the Villages in the early days, she moved back at the age of 93. Not the same much more congested.
I put the night crawler container in a gallon zip-loc bag while its in the fridge. Doesnt seem to affect their life span, but just opening the bag every week or so would refresh the oxygen supply(altho ive gone a month without opening it). Would love to see a 'fishing the villages' video! ... or fishing wherever lol
I'm just getting around to watching this video. Thank you for showing how to put gas into the golf car. I didn't know it's under the passenger seat. I hope to buy a golf car in the near future. Love you guys!

Wowie! We are very entertained by the fact that your grocery shopping includes nothing we ever buy ourselves. For years we have not eaten or consumed white bread, cow's milk, ham, hot dogs, sodas, ice cream, donuts or cakes. We do our shopping primarily in the produce aisle, all kinds of fruits and vegetables, and then we get some wild caught salmon and free range chicken. We drink water and tea and have almond milk sometimes with our oats. We buy organic pasture raised eggs. Actually we don't eat any bread at all. We love salads and we have potatoes and rice or sometimes corn for our starches. It's fun to see how other people live and eat. Quite amazing that Linda is so slender considering all the things you guys bought. I guess you guys get a lot of exercise because you both look great and young ! God bless you! I agree that this couple look amazing considering their diet. However their bodies know how bad all those sugars, chemicals and animal products are for them. 🍓

Now i don't feel so bad i am 65 my husband is62 we are retires and our grocery shopping is like that we buy junk food a lot and i am saying all the time this is not good for us but i guess when the 4 kids were home we never got much of the junk food because they ate it so its our turn now haha , we love this retirement of ours we go to bed when we want to and get up when we want to the kids and grandkids just laughs at us , we from south Alabama been here our whole life i sure enjoy your videos and special this shopping one

Compared to the Walmart’s in NJ, I can’t get over how clean and neat your Walmart is. We just probably be more cost conscious as you are, but we just get what we need, like, and want without looking at the prices. Thanks for sharing.

This was the best! I am short so from Jerry's Hat everything in Walmart looked totally different, thanks for that perspective. This looks like a great store to shop in and love that you can drive there in your golf cart. I love that you can't go far without being recognized. Thanks for taking us along.

We lived in Florida 25 yrs. Moved back up north 14 yrs ago. Don't miss crowded roads, crowded restaurants, hot humid weather, and higher cost of living. Don't miss it a bit. We lived near Naples.
Actually Jerry I have to tell you that Sara Lee makes Walmart bread.My company was working on a conveyor belt and I watched them change the bags from Sara Lee to great value without stopping the machine.
I always enjoy watching you guys and can't wait for the day my hubby and I move to the Villages! Hopefully, it'll be in 2023 and if were lucky we will have our picture taken with you both!

In NWFL at my Walmart shelves are bare. I have found Walmart in more affluent neighborhoods are not experiencing empty shelves.

Fun ride! We were at the Neighborhood Market yesterday. It’s always busy, no matter when we go.
Finally got a break from our business to watch the latest J &L video. And the reason for the business was our home got listed for sale at 8am on Wednesday with a scheduled open house for Sunday so we were very busy doing last minute cleaning. My agent called us 2 hours after the listing went up on MLS to inform us he had already gotten 9 calls from other agents with very interested pre-qualified clients that wanted to get in before the open house in Sunday. We said fine, got our cats into their crates and into the car, and then headed out for a 4 hour ride which the cats did not enjoy. When we returned home our agent told us 3 strong offers came and after much deliberation we accepted the one that was $50k over asking, no house to sell, waived the inspection, would out-of-pocket make up the difference if their bank appraised lower than the sale price, and wanted nothing from us other than to be able to purchase our home that they fell in love with which is where they want to raise baby # 1 that is on the way. In this market we figured our home would sell relatively quickly, but not in less than a day and at $50k over asking. Expected closing will be the end of April, and following we will head to TV to rent for a couple of months until we are able to purchase a new home preferably in St. John. I guess it is now pretty safe to say see you when we get there in May. 😁

Oh My Goodness!!! I have been hoping for a Walmart cart ride and shop-THANK YOU!!! Being able to get to a Walmart on legal trails is a huge consideration for me for moving-I'm not going to be able to drive forever so knowing I can not only have FUN going to WM but also maintaining my independence in the LONG term is HUGE!!! They have a very good produce section there and prices about the same as here in SA TX. You all are so gracious to all of us/your fans!!! THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT SHOW!!! (Give Gizmo a treat from us!!!)

I used to live in the villages . Village of bell air , Marietta lane. Loved it ,but my partner didn't ..
In Toronto, a major Grocery retailer, Loblaws, told Frito Lay to get all their chips off the Loblaws shelves and they own Shoppers Drug Mart across, Canada too! Loblaws is huge and they are trying to tell Frito Lay don't rip our customers off......All should Boycott Frito Lay....ie, Lays chips and corn chips etc...
Actually none of Frito Lay's products are food. According to new Govt guidelines they will not be allowed to be sold in the US.

It must be tough getting errands done quickly now that you are such celebrities!😄 So neat that you can take your cart to get groceries and do errands. Love your bag system. Here in our community in CA we cannot leave the neighborhood in the cart, but can use it for golf here on our 2 courses. All have to be electric as well. I would like to be able to use it for more. Fun ride.

Our Walmarts have removed almost all the lanes with human checkers and replaced them with self-check stations. They’re a pain!
I love self check out. it moves so much quicker. Definitely a too each their own I suppose.
@@michaeljohnson4777 Takes away a job from someone who is paying taxes, using their income to purchase other items and perhaps have health insurance. I refuse to use self checkout.
@@keith7046 I understand your point but its short sited. In order to have self Checkout you would require the equipment for it. That means manufacturing of additional equipment and coding jobs.
To look at items in a vacuum will typically result a false impression. In many cases a lose of a job due to technology creates a new job in the technology creating the item.

Tip on pineapples (from Hawaii growers)… store them upside down in a pitcher for 24 hours prior to slicing them. This allows the natural juices and sugars that have settled in the bottom of the fruit to recirculate.

People don’t make healthy choices and then get reading glasses. 😅 It’s because they have glasses, feel like hell and are on scary meds that they do a 180. Love seeing you guys still being able to eat the way I use to 15 years ago. 😋😘

If a grocery store or restaurant doesnt look like I thonk it should i will leave.. we had a journalist in Sc whos pet peeve was people who didnt put the carts up at the grocery. He moved to Charleston sc and carried on his policing grocery carts. I wonder if its same man.
I like their cannolis in the bakery section. Ribeye my favorite. Beef prices price’s outrageous. Fresh pineapple really cheap. Cut off the leaves, turn upside down and let sit on counter for half a day so the juices will go back to the top section.Fun shopping with you two🥰

Since you did those long view shots of Linda, I couldn't help but notice that all that golf with the ladies really has her looking thinner and more fit than ever! That's one of the things that I'm most looking forward to when we finally move to The Villages. It's all the variety of opportunities to get and stay fit! Thanks for the look at Walmart Market. We don't have that here, but we have SuperWalmart. I love Great Value cream soda. It's the best! Thank you again.
