That was cool to see all those perch. Got an AquaVu hd7ipro and had a school of crappies like that under me at our local pond. Really neat to watch, love cameras. I've learned so much about fish behavior from mine! Especially watching asshole pike stare down lures and scare the other fish away.
As you saw, I’m using the Marcum Mission SD, it’s nice, but for video recording and linking it into a video, I am definitely going to look into getting the AquaVu for this reason and I’ve heard tons of great things on them! Also, yes, camera are very nice, you can see fish all day on a flasher, but throw down a camera, and you can see how they behave with the jig you have on and if they are interested or not.
We’ve been holding around 3”-4” range last couple weeks; But with this cold front moving in, we’ll finally be making ice. So that’ll help us out a little. There’s still some inland lakes that are wide open.
