Some say Chakin Shibori is the act of wringing out water of a tea cloth and others say it is the act of squeezing out water. Personally wringing the tsuka does not work for me at all, whereas simply squeezing is much better as I feel wringing the tsuka can really affect the quality of Sae in a negative way. To be honest I do not think Chakin Shibori disappeared but simply changed to the explanation of either squeezing or wringing the tsuka right before the cut connects with the opponent and then immediately relaxing the grip again after impact (Tenouchi).
Thank you Hiro!
Thanks your very much Sensei.
