These are some things that I’ll take into consideration when labing Zato but fun thing is when you unsumon during frog the frog will continue as normal while Eddie is unsumoned meaning that you can regain Eddie bar and send out another frog or other Eddie move. Or oppose drunkard shade and reset. Also both supers can be active simultaneously.
#1 - if you practice the timing you can throw out an invite hell for a meatie after summoning eddie. It's a tricky set up to pull off, but it throws them off. If you can sweep, summon, invite hell, then you can have eddie do any of his attacks effectively.
Regarding the pierce blender, another super optimal (but hard to do consistently) move is to move eddy behind the opponent, then do Pierce -> drunkard shade in between hits -> repeat (and ofcourse apply respective mixups as you see fit), this allows you to use eddy for about 6 pierce hits which is better for looping, atleast to what ive seen.

The behind enemy pierce pressure into a possible throw mix up is definitely something i shoukd start implementing as i seem to only do one or two things on eddy behind. I hinestly appreciate the time and effort this video made and i hope who made this is still doing well and enjoying zato evej after the nerfs. Honestly as bad as the nerf was to zato and people are even calling him bottom tier i think he is just a harder caoped character now wirh having to manage unsommoning sometimes more than lifebar now. I'm really stuck on the pierce blender, setting it up is really hard for me. I always seem to go into 6P when trying to negative edge the backwards pierce, and even then getting him behind them is somewhat tricky. I've used Invite Hell to prevent their jump but I then fudge the inputs after that. When I do somehow hit the 5k I haven't been able to sucessfully do Drunkard Shade to reset the blender.
For the backwards pierce, I plink my finger from S to P during the Drunkard shade animation so that no P button ever comes out. 5K to DS is a timing thing and it definitely takes some practice. It’s a difficult thing to learn but keep grinding, it pays off!
I don’t currently play the game, so I’m not positive, but I think they made it easier to poke Eddie during it at some point unfortunately :( appreciate you watching but would def recommend a more recent guide

Do you mean summoning after 2D didn’t work or combining into 2D didn’t work? If it was the summon, probably just need to practice inputting faster. Summon should special cancel from 2D so it happens immediately
Sorry, but I've been trying this for almost 1 hour, so I'd like to ask: the combo I'm trying to do is 'summon Eddie (while holding P), 5S (close), 2D, then letting go P and he will hit the enemy twice', but for some reason, even if I keep holding '5P' the whole time, when I start the '5S', Eddie do the other move (biting the enemy). So what exactly am I doing wrong?

Yeah the unsummon frog is sick! That buff came in after this video went up, he can do all kinds of wild shit now. Such a fun char

Are you letting go of S after you press it? Whatever gets let go of triggers his attack, so you have to hold the S too once you press it down
