I hope you had a great trip. Aitutaki is my favorite travel destination although it is very far from Sweden, where I come it is usually some 25 hours from when I get on the airplane near Gothenburg, I have made the trip several times. Been to more than 80 countries but if I would ever make the leap to move and start a new life, Aitutaki is it.
We had an amazing trip and have booked to go back in 2024! Yes Aututaki really is a beautiful paradise - definitely would be a great place to live. Wow 80 countries that’s really impressive - have you made it to NZ? Thanks for watching😀
@@KiwiWanderers Wow, that is awesome. I wish I could rebook already. Yes, been to NZ but only briefly. Had to take a detour there after I was stuck in Cook Islands in Feb 2005 after a couple of Cyclones I missed my fligths towards LA and Europe and had to go to Auckland for a while to get a trip to LA from there. Is a ton of things and beautiful nature to see in NZ. I am thinking to go RV camping in NZ one day.
cool vid, I'm staying in that resort next week!!! Any tips or favourite things to do?? I also planning to take the bikes to main island but unsure how far anything is haha
We loved the jeep tour and the boat tour to onefoot island were great the resort organised it for us... nothing is 2 far away in Raro you will have a great time on a bike. Thanks for watching
Awesome video! Really want to come in November but worried about the weather. What do you think, November is good weather to come? Are there food options for my fussy daughter? Best place to visit?
Hi Tina, Yes we think November is a good time to visit - its the shoulder season between the wet and dry seasons. Most restaurants, cafes etc have lots of variety of food, they do focus on fresh fruits and veges and lots of fresh fish as well as the old faithful - steak, eggs and chips etc. We really enjoyed where we stayed but there a few different options of every budget. The two tours that we did were definitely a lot of fun,
What a cool trip guys, Loved the Raro trip as well... Would love to get to Aitutaki one day, looks like there was a few boating trips over there. The Safari trip up the top looked awesome... Hows the drone going? or not going...
The Cook Islands really are paradise and right on our doorstep! Haha the drone has been out a few times - no more crashes and no fish lol! Won’t be long until you guys are back!
Greg saw you on the project. It was somewhat disappointing to see that the hosts end up talking about themselves rather than your experiences / lifestyle. They did the same with fellow kiwi Colin McRae from Parley Revival (on UA-cam) a few nights before you. I don’t think they are really that interested in you because your lifestyle is so foreign to their echo chamber. Do you have an inverter and lithium batteries for off grid power?
Hi Andrew, Yes we do have lithium (200AH) and a 2000w inverter we very rarely run out of power but we also really watch what we use when in winter. I am making a video about our solar system as I get a lot of questions about it. should be out in a couple of weeks. Cheers Greg
Aloha from beautiful tropical Hawaii islands. Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing .

Wow a cyclone - that’s pretty scary. Definitely do it - the only way to see NZ is by RV. It’s really easy to get around.
