For 63 days the Polish home army, armed mainly with small arms and improvised explosives , held out against the German Wehrmacht, who used heavy artillery, aircraft and tanks, including some Tigers and Panthers, against them. Their heroism and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
We could win that but sadly red army entered only right side of Warsaw (Right bank of Vistula) month before Uprising capitulated, and it sended only 1 unit that wasnt prepared for urban combat, also USSR forbidded Allied airmen to land on its airfields to support Warsaw

When millions of people were forced to wait in inhuman conditions to be slaughtered like pigs in death camps, nobody even tried to stop it. What before the war would have been considered pure evil suddenly became routine. People divested themselves of any form of empathy or morality. But those who fought in the Warsaw uprising and other uprisings like that in the Warsaw Ghetto changed that. Nazis killed the idea of goodness in humanity while they resurrected it. They stood against evil in the darkest hour and became a beacon of hope for future generations. Saying that their fight was senseless is a disgrace to any human being. They may have lost physically, but morally, they reedemed humanity.
In reality more Poles served in Hitler's army than in AK and it had a de-facto truce with Hitler's army until 1943 Stalingrad battle that turned the tide of the war.
