      stop it!!! the guy was loaded!!!! no doubt about that!!! that's why he has got injured!!!! enhancers will push your body beyond the critical limit: you feel no pain. but the next season or so, all things are broken down. i know what im talking about. i was with russian athletics federation during those times!

      Why are lanes 1 and 8 talked about like being in them is the end of the world?!?! Besides not getting the view of where your competitors are aren't they all the same in essence?

      @@jesseribbey The lanes have a different radiuses around the bends that influences a runners tactic .Not so relevant for the 100m but more so for the 200m dash or say 400m hurdles . I'm not a pro so would like more insight.

      In lane 8 it's more of a straight line but you can't see anyone so you gotta go by feel and cadences.

    The commentator for the 400m final in Paris was trying to say it was the best final ever. The absolute disrespect. Wayde broke the world record from the outside lane, put some respect on his name.

Suddenly Jakob is better than Cheptegei, his the best 5k runner of all time OF ALL TIME!!. Without the world record. The E.Africans are passed their prime. Jakob and his fans are also arrogant, there is a reason why all the greats were humble. I promise you he will not defend his title and he will be beaten by an East African.

    To bring this into perspective for non runners.. every 100m he ran.. which by the way is 4 of them.. is faster than The time of Any woman's 100m sprint less than 10.8 sec 🙈 it is just insane.

      Well, not really. His last 3 100s he has a running start to average those times. His top end speed is close ish to top end females in their respected 100s, but they are pulling away from him if they were given a jogging start to race the last 100.

      @@blaquenguni9249 Lol i think that's what happed. and it is the biggest regret in his life, even in interviews he does not want to talk about it. Usain Bolt said Wayde was going to take over after he retired. it's a shame he will never hit that 2016 peak again. I genuinely believe he could have broken his own record again...retirement seems inevitable after France but i could be wrong. people like to push themselves even when they are past their prime. He is still one of the best to ever do it!

    That is the greatest moment of any track and field athlete in their entire life when you break a world record at the Olympics for most athletes that only happens once in their lifetime even though Wayne will never do that again and never reach that pinnacle again in his life because of circumstances he will always go down in history has one of the only athletes to break a world record at the Olympic games
