Hi, I really like your art. I have one suggestion - you miniatures should show the finished painting, not just a couple of first dots. It would give you more views. Keep up the great work!

I just did this and it looks freakin' amazing. Thank you so much for the excellent tutorial.
A couple of tips for those who want to try it:
-use a soft brush for the blending.
-always blend light colors into darker colors to achieve a smooth gradient. I noticed how in this video, the artist constantly moved the white into the darker colors. That observation really helped.
-use a decent tape for the borders. The dollar store masking tape I used caused the paint to bleed through and I was left with clean up duty on the edges after removing it. 😅

From top to bottom. Ultramarine, Phthalo Blue, Titanium White, Green, Raw Umber.

@@addyschoolofart4355 From memory it was Cobalt green or something similar. A cool blueish green to give the sea a turquise colour when mixed with the pthalo blue and white.
