- Join me on the hunt for a new truck! While we continue to wait for the cabover's new radiator, I'm exploring my options for a second truck to add to my operation. In this video, I take a closer look at a 2008 International 9200 with a powerful Cummins ISM engine and smooth 10-speed Eaton transmission. Don't miss out on this exciting journey!
Really appreciate your down-to-earth presentation. You make it really easy to learn and follow. I wish your videos were around 15 yrs ago when I started. I could have learned a lot.
Keep the videos coming! Been binging ever since i found your channel. Every part of this adventure has been awesome to follow.
CONGRATULATIONS on the new rig driv,ah it's not the mack but it has,a transmission 😂😂😂
If I didn't know better. I think that truck was a old Flying J truck. It looks like it wouldn't be bad if it was cleaned up. Good Luck. Stay Safe out There 🇺🇸 👍
Love your videos dude! They’re so real, and packed full of legit info. Nobody else talks about costs like you do. Keep them coming. And get that cabover back on the road. I’m slowly building my 352 to run down the road. These videos are inspiring.
I love me a 9200 or 9400 , good trucks ! I see a international cabover back there bro I was waiting for you to show it lol
Looks like a old flying j truck. That’s a muffler, and a ism cummins sounds great with a straight pipe
With that longer wheelbase, you’ve got enough room to mount an APU.
Wow! Awesome rig! Ex Oakley tank lines?
That’s what I thought but the previous owner says he bought it from pilot
@@kyle-kelliher hm
Looks promising. Did you end up buying it?
Yeah I did. Cost me $15k
I’ve only ever seen internationals with that suspension set up especially doing tankers
It looks like an ex Oakley truck
Do you work from the load boards or are you leased on to someone? I'm just curious if you work off the boards have you had any trouble getting loads due to your older cab over truck?
Don't look to be to bad definitely needs cleaned up but might not be a bad truck good luck
If it is a Maxforce engine run as fast as you can, also 2007 2008 Cummins had tons of problems it was the start of the emission engines with regen and canisters any thing 2003 or older in a Cummins is good, unless it is a X15.
It’s not a maxxforce, it does have a DPF but I plan on taking that off- i did the same on my pickup.
I have an ISM in my log truck
Mine is set at 330hp 1350tq
With a 10 speed as well and I love it!
What is that one rated at?
420hp
@@kyle-kelliher oh cool that’ll be great 👍
This might be a dumb question but is not possible to just buy a new radiator for the truck?
That’s basically what I did. Buying a whole radiator would have been $4000 rather than $1,700 and taken just as long to get- the only benefit would be that I would get new tanks which I don’t need.
Shouldn’t be too bad of a truck. Delete the DPF and DOC and it should be ok. That year tho Cummins had a ton of issues with the emissions system. But if it’s priced right. Sounds like you’ll have to do somethings to it to get it ready to go. Ya know if it’s got tits or tires on it’s gonna cost ya.
Shoot make the cab over the fill in truck
you will spend more cash on that. in 2 weeks keep looking.
That is an old flying j truck
