Shambuka enters Panchvati, stalking Mata Sita. Lakshman finds Shambuka and ends his life swiftly. Shurpanakha goes out to look for her son and comes across Shri Ram's residence. She gets enamoured by Shri Ram and takes on a disguise to approach him. However, Shri Ram rejects her proposal, and Shurpanakha attacks Mata Sita out of spite.

The most accurate Shurpankha prasang was shown in Shrimad Ramayan, completely based on Valmiki Ramayana the scene was so well picturised, the cinematography was best , also the actress Sangeeta who portrayed Surpankha was marvellous, no over acting, no over expressions, she was best Surpankha till date , and also Lakshman ji cut ears of Shurpankha along with nose , this is mentioned in VR, overall one of the best episodes of Shrimad Ramayan as it wasn't stretched unnecessarily, in one episode they had shown whole pragang 👏😍
But it has its own drawbacks.
Here makers have caused Sujay to underperform.He looks indifferent.

Lakshman doesn't say anything to Surpanakha but after cutting her nose and ears,he uses the same dialogue on her that she used for Seeta
Ram playfully entertains Shurpanakha and subtly makes fun of her but gets visibly annoyed only when she charges at his wife.
There is no PRAVACHAN from Shree Ram as shown here.All this just to portray him as some guy from other planet only and not a human.

Meet Shurapanakha,one of the earliest stalkers.She actually scans Ram from head to toe .Perhaps one of the ladies in the ancient times to objectify a man.The focus is on his radiant face, lengthy arms,eyes large like lotus petals, stride like that of an elephant, wearing bunches of hair-tufts, delicate yet greatly vigorous, possessor of all kingly aspects, complexion deep-blue like blue lotus, similar to kama deva in brilliance and is similar to Indra.
Absolutely loved the acting of Lakshman in this episode..!!! 🤩🤩.Great going Basant..,!!U were quite impressive in this episode..!!
I really loved how he narrows his eyes and crosses his arms when Surpanakha approaches him seductively.His body language is quite loud and clear .One could clearly see the rejection and dislike already formed around his mouth😁.He also doesn't like when she insults Seeta but stays quiet in VR.It was as if he couldn't wait to reject her.Plus I loved the way how he sarcastically tells his reason for rejection ." Ki aap Mahabali Lankesh ki behen hai" along with the raising of eyebrows..😁 Aur aap jaise Sunder stree ko kasht ho toh mujhe acha nahi lagega .😁😁
As far as I understood,Shurpanakha speaks to Ram in her original ugly demoness form.There is no mention of changing her appearance.Although there are versions that mention about transforming herself before meeting Ram.She asks his identity and he tells her everything in a straightforward manner.
Then he asks about her and she boasts about her family background .In the same breath ,she asks him whether she could eat the ugly Seeta and Lakshman so that Ram will be free and then they can roam freely.When Rama hears this ,he actually chuckles.
He says that he is already married and it will be difficult for a woman like Shurpanakha to live with another woman .Unlike what is shown here , he directs her to Lakshman and say that -
He is without a wife and in need of one.
He is youthful, good-looking and he can become a great husband.Rama knew that Lakshman would neither betray the girl he married nor would he entertain Shurpanakha.Still he sends her to the younger one to have some masti.
This is one of the few instances where the brother share a private joke.Looking at Shurpanaka ( original form) Ram calls her a lady with enthralling personality.
Its like a humor which is secretly communicated between the brothers in this episode.Ram was a jovial talker and the brothers make fun of Shoorpanaka in a subtle manner.He surely doesn't give UPDESH to her in VR.
When Soorpanakha becomes angry,she runs towards Seeta.In VR,Ram gets annoyed on seeing this and tells Lakshman to disfigure her face.So it was not Lakshman who just acted out of his will.Rama clearly instructed him.
Here ,Sujay is sedate...!!

Someone is trying to kill your wife and u look confused.Even in the Japanese animation,Ram comes in between the 2 women and tries to dislodge the demoness from Seeta.
Yes this sequence was shown well in show as compared to other Ramayan series
@@alldramaloverindian145 I know I read VR , and the Surpankha prasang that had written there I read that too , Shri Ram praising Devi Sita and demonstrating his love and ek patni vrat is creative liberty by makers ,to show how Shri Ram is devoted only to Devi Sita,yes Sujay could have got more playful dialogues by makers but may be they hasn't given to him as it may provoke few fans as how Shri Ram could say this , also in this whole incident Lakshman had no dialogues before nose and ear cutting, why I compared the scene with VR as it gave me a feel of VR as how Lakshman as Basant performed here it resembles a lott that of real Lakshman his rage his anger was same , also Devi Sita here was quiet not uttered a single word which was same in VR too Devi Sita was a spectator in this prasang , also Sangeeta looked like a real Surpankha in terms to acting and in terms of Surpankha of VR and Lakshman cut the nose and ears of Shurpankha which is mentioned in VR too this is also the reason for which I compared SR Shurpankha prasang with VR also Shri Ram not doing anything and standing again this is the creative liberty by makers as people are sitting, and judging those who hasn't read VR might think how can Shri Ram can instruct Lakshman to cut her nose , these are certain reasons due to which makers take creative liberty

@@riyachauhan8868 I know that was so unfortunate , but with Kumbhkaran vadh we get a lesson,that even if we know dharma , but standing on the wrong side ont he side of adharma, we had to pay for that deed , Kumbhkaran did nothing wrong but was on wrong side so had to loose his life on hands of Shri Ram, but he got moksh and blessings of Shri Ram in the end

See this is moral dilemma (dharm sankat)
Kumbhkaran chose dharma of brother over mool Dharma and got killed but also remembered for his brotherhood.
Vibhishan did the opposite and is known as" Dharmatmaa" for siding with mool dharma and "Lankabhedi" for disclosing secrets of his family.
So In moral dilemma we need to make choices not among right and wrong but among more and less correct or more and less wrong... whatever choice we make, whichever priority we keep,we have to face both positive and negative consequences of our choice.
(Side note: just visit RS ramayan same episode and watch kumbhkaran Vibhishan dialogue,it's well described there).

Here Sujay id giving pravachan and updesh to Shurpanakha whicj takes put the beauty from this scene.He looks quite chilled a well as confused.Dude!! Someone is actually trying to attack your most precious consort and u r so so slow in reaction.At least they should have shown that Ram chuckles on hearing Lakshman's reply.
In Japanese animation also,Ram stands betweem the 2 women and tries to protect her.
Plus when Lakshman said,,"Bada vichitra Prem hai Devi aapka, abhi mere bade bhaiya par Mohit ho rhi thi ab mere paas Chali aayi"
And last me" anumati swamy se lijiye daas se nahi" and Surpnakha's expressions change instantly over that...

Actually As Surpnakha after denied of her proposal from both brothers went on attacking Sita Maa,it was Shri Ram who got annoyed and ordered lakshman to disfigure and therefore punish her coz she,in her roop abhimaan, was not able to accept rejection and reasons behind it and was going to kill Mata Sita.
So it wasn't only Lakshman who acted angrily here....Both ShriRam and Laxman after denying her advances got angry on her reaction towards Mata Sita.
