Well, I saw David Brian's setup back in late 8's with at least four 20-space racks filled up with Casio FZ-10M samplers (6 of them to be precise) TX802, TX816's, D-550, etc, all routed through four linked Yamaha DMP7 digital mixers (I believe that used to go for $4,000 a piece). Now seeing a $100 Behringer mixer rig makes me wonder, if I'd be aspired to get into electronic instruments at all if I were a kid right now. Probably not.

I used to have two of those Behringer mixers. They were very inexpensive of course, but sounded really good, as long as didn't overload the inputs and cause any loops. Probably the reason that they sounded so good is because they don't have that much components, I mean, no EQ et all. Once I got Mackie 3204 VLZ4, I sold the two 16-channel Behringers. But now I think since David Brian uses this, I should've probably kept them :) Anyway, I got the Receptor too, not the 2 + because that's expensive, but the original blue one with C2 revision. Got it brand new old stock, didn't unbox though yet. I only hope MOTU Symphonic Instrument will work on it. I doubt it will work, but I am going to try.
