What a delightful gentleman David is, always passionate about the game and he deserves to be rolling around in money and drinking fine wine after facing the West Indies attacks of the 1980s.
A slack genius is still a genius (think James Hunt - one F1 world championship then party time...period🍺🍺🥃🥃❤️❤️). Gower batted so effortlessly. Cheers from Adelaide

Gower was always a delight to watch batting and great to hear as commentator since world cup 1992.
My all-time cricketing hero. Not just for his elegant batting but also for his demeanor and sense of humour.
Missing him on Sky. Especially good energy for the anchor or host role or whatever you want to call it.

I liked Gower as a batsman but he was clearly finished as a broadcaster, sky were actually late in letting him go IMO.
Was studying to be a lawyer at one stage.
Top guy will be missed on Sky Cricket 🏏 🙈
The better G in 3G of England.#aambubu
