The couple jd we had while farming started pretty good all year, we had blue, yellow, orange, and that other green one,, the couple deere came and went in the early years,, the rest, once acquired we kept till the end
Nothing beats the quality of the J D ether. One poof from the 80% can into the direct injector below steering wheel, and my 4320 fires right up. I use the block heater when possible. Always have the engine spinning first.
Needs an injector/injector pump tune up that includes setting the valves, if that don't work consider a sleeve/ring job. It should crank much better than that.
It probably should, but it never has in the 13 years we've owned it. New injectors made it a little better, but not enough. If we overhaul this engine, we're making sure it gets high-ring pistons. If not, it's probably getting a 466
Hang 2 truck 30 series batterys on the frame and will make a differts . I did that to my 4620 .

That thing should fire right up at that temperature.

@@rossedward1601 how do you know it has 14000hrs? John Deere didn't make a tach that would last much past 3500, and a John Deere runs a 45 minute hr

I've never had a problem with jd batteries......in my 4020's about 8 years so far .
Why not put 2 12 volts on it n interstate long 6 volts last a long time
Ether bunny?
If it gets below 40 degrees and she's not plugged in
@@RustyCarnahan oh
I have 4520 with 12V
Does yours have two 6's in series, or two 12's in parallel?
@@RustyCarnahan 2 12 volt batteries
All 4520 were 12V
Go with a 466 out of a combine.
Stay tuned. Got one sitting in the shop destined for it.
