For decades Guitar Village has been assisting guitar players throughout the UK and over the world (from the novice to celebrity players) find their dream guitar.
A fantastic range of low interest finance options now help the guitarist find the correct guitar for them without the price tag being an issue by spreading the instalments into easily manageable interest free payments. There’s nothing we love more than allowing a player of the past to re-live their passion by starting up again, but this time with the guitar they always wanted but could never afford.
Guitar Village is based in Surrey, UK and serves customers within its beautiful old building on West Street Farnham and via our online guitar shop.
Farnham is on the borders of Surrey and Hampshire, and only 45 minutes from London. The trip is worth it, but if you prefer to shop online, everything is online too!

You have to love a Strat. I wish I could afford one of these, but with inflation and everything, it won't be an axe I'll ever own in my lifetime. I once had a really beat up '69 Fender Mustang body that I restored with a modern Squier neck and some random Chinese hardware, that's about as close as I ever got to owning a vintage Fender. Hopefully when things normalize again, I'll be able to build another partscaster again.

First of all, this is a excellent and in depth video that is well produced.
Second, that is a lovely sounding Strat, and very well recorded. Middle pickup is especially nice.
I have a lefty Strat from Apr ‘65, and I think that Strats from this era of late ‘63 through late ‘66 have something special.
One question: could you please describe the recording chain? Amp, mic, etc?
    Thank you so much.

First off, thanks for your kind words! As for signal chain, we just used a Cornell Romany 12 with no pedals, an SM57 infront ( check out our other videos where you can see placement) and a condenser running for a little bit of room sound. All just going into an Audient Evo4. Thanks again!

@@GuitarVillageFarnham Thanks for the info. That Cornell sounds amazing. A bit like a deluxe reverb with a pinch of tweed mixed in. Really allows the character of that Strat to come through. Good choice. Cheers!

We can assure you while it is slightly shifted over, this strat is still 100% playable! Perhaps the camera angle while it's on the bench makes it look like it is worse than it truly is :)

Under that horrible nicotine yellow nitro clear coat is a lovely bright white acrylic color coat.
