Interesting, it sounds VERY similar to the material some are incorrectly calling Girasol Quartz, or the faceted stone "Nurielite" (TM) which reportedly is only mined in Madagascar. Has anyone studied the micro elements of this quartz to know how it differs from other quartz? Nurielitte gets it's unique color change properties from the micro traces of Al, Na and Ti which allow the stone to radiate various colors just like our atmosphere during a sunrise or sunset (same science). This is the first I have heard of this type of quartz, no doubt it is causing GREAT confusion among sellers as many call Nurielitte "Pakastani Moonstone".

Thanks for the informative video, I bought a stone several years ago and I am currently wearing it, just wanted to know if having too much natural impurities affects the value and benefits of the stone, because the impurities in the stone I have make a large part of it semitransparent and even white and dark grey shades.. when I take it off it is possible to see that it is a transparent stone with impurities
Natural inclusions will affect the value of the stone in the market but it will not affect the benefits narrated by our Imams.

Durr e Najaf, actually is a desert quartz, keeping in consideration Iraqi weather which is very hot it is quite difficult to find clear stones, durr e najaf is a very special name not quality which is said to be only found in wad e salam, which i am sure cant be in huge quantity bcaz digging is not allowed and it is full of graves, so where did they find this stone ? quartz is the only mineral which can be found in abundance in every country on this planet, some time people find big crystals of quartz in desert in the adjacent area of najaf, which are same in appearance as durr e najaf, it is extremely rare that you found crystals of clear desert quartz, but seems to me it is available in tons, what can i say ? dont want to hurt the feelings of people.

Yes I checked what you wrote. But we take the one that comes from najaf. And it can be found in abundance in other countries but refer to the one from najaf, if you can find it. Also Imam said that Allah has made it cheap out of his mercy
This is true, Allah has made it cheap,but not durr e najaf, its a unique stone from a specific area with blurry appearance, wad i salam is very congested, almost no empty space one grave on the top of other, it must be very rare that you find something, its only after the rainy season that few pieces are found on the surface, its nature`s gift, from a great place.
