My dad told me stories about this place and how he used to enjoy the food here in 1985.... Never knew that it is still serving great food. He told me about the chutney podi they used to serve where one person gives you a plate with idli and dry chutney powder and another person pours hot coconut oil on the powder and you'd have to make it like a paste and eat it with the idli.... To this day this chutney powder with coconut is our favourite side for idlis and we make it at home. Definitely gonna visit this place after the lockdown.

At least now people of Tamil Nadu will understand (especially politicians) how Tamil language is respected outside Tamil Nadu. You can see even a common man tries to speak Tamil in the way he knows. But within Tamil Nadu, we hardly see people even trying to speak other language.

Just a suggestion. Once you take out the Idlies, wash the cloth before you use it again. It does not cost mush of time and money. It is is important how fast you prepare.more important is how huygenic you are , cost and taste. Not intended to hurt.

As I observed no body is speaking in Kannada, the local language. When u go and settle in a place, u must learn the regional language. This attitude is found only in our Karnataka. Even Kannadigas do not speak in Kannada. They may think that it is below their dignity to speak in Kannada. But every body living in Karnataka should understand that Kannada is a beautiful language with rich literature and culture. All those who have not spoken in Kannada should be made to speak in Kannada. One of my friends an English man was here for two years and he learnt Kannada and now he can read epics and classics in Kannada literature. Sir Reverend Kettle a foreigner learnt Kannada, edited a Kannada-English Dictionary which is still the best. I do not know when our people understand these things.

In February, I was in Bangalore and had the best rice dosa in chickpet. There is a canteen (small) by our building that serves amazing Seth dosa. Taaza tindi had bestdosa. Went to MTR for breakfast. High light was shapaddaa called roti house. Seeing this video brings back memories.
