He was so good-looking and fun loving. In one of his first interviews, I think on Larry King Live, after his accident he answered a question about what happened to him with this (paraphrased) "Some people fall out of a window on the sixth floor and only have a few scratches. Others trip over their shoe laces and have a fatal fall." His and Robin Willams' friendship was everything the definition of friendship should be. That was not the actual footage of his near fatal accident. Apparently he fell straight on the top of his head and his first 2 vertebrae were crushed by the weight of his entire body. Basically his injury could be compared to being decapitated because his skull was no longer attached to (the rest of) his spine, but was only attached to the rest of his body by skin, veins, arteries, muscles and nerves.
