Just mind-boggling degrees of virtuosity on display. The best arrangement I've heard in ages. I have nothing to say other than I hope I have an excuse to work with y'all for something some day. Gonna have to spend the evening digging into the production here!
Whoever arranged this…God bless you!!🔥💯 This was incredible from start to finish. Some notable moments for me were that smooth keyboard riff at 0:53🔥, and that upward riff from Alita at 2:42 paired with those smooth BGVs. Ya’ll cooked on this one!🔥👏
It’s in the style of 90s R&B. Think Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy is Mine” or Whitney Houston’s “It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay” era of music. So, it’s definitely not mis-labeled. In reality, modern-day R&B is mislabeled…it’s really hip-hop labeled as R&B
@@RebekahStevens-m1x except it's not in that style in any way, shape or from. I'm not sure what you listened to, but you've either never heard r&b or you just have bad ears. 🤷
@@evand2 listen to Destiny’s Child, TLC, and other late 90s R&B songs and you’ll hear that it sounds similar to this arrangement. No, it doesn’t sound like SZA or H.E.R.’s version of modern R&B. But this arrangement is an ode to late 90s/early 2000s R&B. It kind of reminds me of J. Lo’s early 2000’s R&B music
@@RebekahStevens-m1x I was born in the 80's and grew up on 90s pop, r&b, rap, etc. I know what I'm talking about. You aren't exposing me to music I haven't heard before. I have most TLC albums memorized
@@evand2 okay, so since you grew up in that decade, you’d know that what at least was “marketed” as R&B during that era sounded like this arrangement. During the late 90s/ early 2000s, they explored more electronic sounds in R&B with slight pop elements to it. I think we’re thinking about two different sounds in the R&B genre.
The fans that get it, GET IT 👏
Ok but if y’all did “He Lives In You” in R&B it would probably be SO dope!!!!! So GOOD!!!!
I second this
They keyboard line is just fluid and magical, I'm so here for it. And I'll buy it the second it's up on iTunes or whatever.
Alita Moses made me click this! I remember seeing her on tour with Jacob collier and being BLOWN away! I hope to see more of her
Immediately on repeat!!
The amount of skill and talent on display is OUTRAGEOUS
She's beautiful Where has she been all this time
Wow! Wonderful arrangement of this old song...love the singer...she's great ..
Hot dog, another amazing rendition!!!! 🎉🎉🎉

oh my god third reprise live was a euphoric moment
WONDERFUL🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I cannot stop listening to this!!! Every part of this arrangement feels magical ✨
This is absolutely in my top 3 faves of yalls covers. Took a song I find annoying and boring, and made it a jam!
What are your top 3? Because I just found this channel.
Yay horns!
Amen!
@@corbinbanks1030 I mean everything is great and all, but kickin' horns are so lacking in much of music today.

holy shit...
Nothing about this is R&B. It sounds awesome! Her vocals are crazy! But seriously, stop mislabeling the genre. Y'all do that a lot.
