😳 YOURE NOT PROFESSIONAL!!?? OMGGG..!! You eye balled that!!?? I can’t believe you did that!! YOU SHOULD BE SELLING THEM LOVE!! YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL!! can I just place an order from you!!?😳 wow! 🤩
I used to be a seamstress and would have been able to do this easily. I made all my daughters clothes and doll clothes. But to me this looks harder than making from scratch. Not sure I have the patience anymore.😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing. You did a great job!
You said you’re not a professional. But you create BEAUTIFUL baby doll clothing. I think the clothing you made was so gorgeous and adorable.....❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you SO much for this tutorial! I'm making my first 10" baby and I didn't realize how difficult/expensive these little tiny clothes are! I am going to attempt this with the little experience I have as well and pray it turns out even half as decent as yours! Great work, super helpful! Thanks again!
Very neat!!! This is how I sewed my first micro preemie onesie and if you take your time, as you have demonstrated they really turn out nicely!!! I’m telling you... you are on to something!!! You’re really good at this!!! 👏🏽❤️ 🧵
Thank you so much! You made it look easy. I am not a seamstress either! I do well to replace a lost button and still get it on crooked, lol. I do appreciate your encouragement.
@@sammys8271 Hi...I just made a new video sizing down my onesie and booties. It was posted this week. Check it out, you might like the video. Thank you for watching. 😁
Thank you so much for sharing how you resize your onesies ... You have nothing to worry about with explaining that your an amateur at sewing.. The new onesie looks lovely and i appreciate you going to the trouble to share .. Love watching your videos .. xoxox
Oh wow...I came across your channel right on time...I got a 10in baby coming soon and I couldn't find and 10in onesies...you are a God send...thank you you so much....I don't know how to sew that great either but I'm definitely going to give this a try...🤗
You are amazing!!!! Thank u I been looking for a video like this for years. I have a 6inch silicone an I have all these oncies I wanted to make to fit. Omg u are awesome!
Oh what a fabulous video thank you!!! Omg well the mystery is solved!! This is something I probably could not do even with instruction bc it's just not my thing to sew, however I was dying to know how they size down these things!! No joke it was a total mystery to me. I thought maybe they somehow shrunk it in heat, I just couldn't imagine!! 🤣🤣🤣 That's fantastic that your able to make your own!! I love it!! Even though I do not plan on trying this I still watched the entire video I was so curious!! This is so great to know!! Your doing great!! 😘😘😘😘
Hi Tasha...I am so happy you enjoyed it. Yes I also wondered how the onesies were size down until I added my 10" Esmae and the cost of clothes is a killer. I knew to keep her I had to learn. Thank you for watching to the end. 😄😃
I just love watching your videos. I enjoy your box openings and thank you so much for creating this video on resizing a onesie. I plan on trying it soon.
This is awesome Diane!! I love that you've done this by hand too. Looks like a fun project and I will have to try this out. Thanks for much for sharing!!
You did really good for an amateur and I would say that is the faster and easier way to make a smaller onesy. I would do that that way. Thanks for the idea.👍
Yeah! What a great Video! Thank you for sharing. Your saving lots of money for your fans. I’ve wanted a 10 inch Baby, but wondered how to make their clothes.🤗
Omg...the cost is expensive. I had to learn. I still plan to purchase on etsy but my learning I can add more mini to my collection. I have another mini on her way home. 😄
Thank you for showing us how you resize your onesies, I will definitely try and follow how you have done yours. Mine will not be perfect...lol but if you continually make them it will get better. The micro preemie clothes are really expensive and I need clothes for my Berenguer doll. Thank you again!!
Lol....I did mess up a few times in the beginning. It's ok to try again and again. You will get it. I still purchase mini items from etsy. I just got 2 onesies for my mini boy Kai. I still plan to buy and make outfits.
Hi! I really enjoyed watching this video, your instructions were very easy to follow with a lot of good, close up details. I've often wondered how onesies were sized down. It was also interesting to learn how to put the snaps on. I have one of those tools and haven't tried it yet, so now I'll know how to do it right! Thank you for taking the time to do this video, it was very interesting and you're a great teacher! Hugs and love, SuzyQ 🤗💖xoxox
Second half lol:: You’re either doing a running stitch or a whip stitch. I couldn’t see well. Either way it works. lol. So altogether you would’ve done three separate things in one sitting. One, sew the body all around. Two, sew crotch area. Tail 😆. 3. Sew the neck and sleeves and end with the snap You did marvelous girl!!!💚💕💜💟🤍💛😍✝️
I followed your instructions and made a really cute onesie and bootie and then cut the top off an old sock to make a hat to match. Wish I could show you pictures.
Just seen this, thankyou and you did very well for a beginner. Ill have to watch it again to get the shoulder neck bit and the tool what is it called that you attach the poppers to please. All by hand too , well done and very useful.

When you cut the bottom half and take out the extra material for hem open up the piece and put the shirt material between it then sew it the material wont be as thick and should lay flat.

thank you for figuring it out for us, You did a great job! Do most people use a sewing machine instead of hand sewing?

When you cut the bottom half and take out the extra material for hem open up the piece and put the shirt material between it then sew it the material wont be as thick and should lay flat.
Lord knows I need to make my own but I can’t sew anything 😩
Wow, you have a knack for sewing! You should take classes; you could make and sell baby doll clothes on the side!
Sounds good but shipping is so costly from the Bahamas. Starting cost of shipping is $50 thank you for the compliment. 😆 😄 😀
So are you hand sewing all of this?
Can u please do a tutorial like this but for a sleeper?
Sorry....I don’t know how to resize a sleeper. ❤
How do you make the neck area smaller?
Her name is Nekketa Brown right? Because I buy her stuff from Etsy too
Hello...I never purchase from Nekketa Brown but I think I have seen her outfits on Etsy. She is also an Artist that sculpt and paint her own silicone dolls. ..her work is amazing but I never purchase from her before. ❤
And you can make those just follow the pattern the same way
Did you hand sew these and what have stitch did you use?
Hello...yes I handmade these. I recorded it as I sew it. ..I do not know what stitches is called because I never took up classes. Thank you for your question. 😄
will this work if i wanted to size down to a 7 inch? i would just have to go down 3 inches with ur measurements right? excuse me if i sound dumb im 16 and want to buy a 7 inch preemie doll but the clothes so expensive
It's a great question. I don't know if it will work. My advice is to buy a 7" set and use it to make other outfits like I did. ❤
Can you tell me how long it is from neck to crotch in inches? I'm trying to make one but I don't have a onesie to use to trace. Thank you 💕
Hello....from neck to crotch is 6 inches.
You also can make a sleeveless one
I don't know how. ...I would love a sleeveless white undershirt. Hopefully one day I will learn how. 😆
Doing this for my teacup 😩
😂😂😂this is why I didn’t use that tool!
