- I transitioned my Personal Styling business to offering only virtual services due to the pandemic in 2020 and haven't looked back since! It was a scary decision but was well worth it. In this video, I broke down the 3 steps I took to transition into virtual styling:
1. Solidifying a process that works

I just finished this amazing video thank you thank you! I truly don’t like being on social media lol this is the only thing that gets in my way!! I’ve always been this way. Other than that I have everything else and feel so prepared! I need to get over that hurdle and I will be okay. @@icedcocoa221 That's great! But what type of stylist are you? Are you a personal stylist, wardrobe stylist, fashion stylist, e-commerce stylist, ect.? All of these styling types can essentially be virtual. If you're not sure, that's okay too!

Hey girl hey! So happy you enjoyed the video. A lot of what I learned for my business was from the brands and companies I've worked for and through trial and error. I also created a course to help Personal Stylists start and grow their businesses. Deciding if I want to bring it back out. But other than that, I've also recently invested in Lauren Messiah's Style Boss Academy course which was great as well.
This so what i need! Im a former personal stylist who became a sahm for the last 10 years. Now i want to started as a virtual stylist! Thank you! I have one question how do you manage a color analysis offer? In my head i need to see the person. 🙈
I'm so glad this video was helpful to you! I hope that it encourages you to get into virtual styling. I don't focus on color analysis because I believe women can wear any color depending on the shade. I would recommend some research and seeing how other stylists who focus on that offer it. But you can also send the client the proper tools to determine their own color palette with you via zoom. I hope that makes sense!
@@sochicchrisomg I remember you Chica! I had to step back I was an aspiring stylist two years ago did all the research etc and you were def amazing and helpful! After a divorce I lost my confidence with getting myself out there, but lately so many signs to revisit this passion.. I won’t be full time but it’s def a passion, things are aligning I’m in my dream career and this is something I never want to forget to nurture! Also, I agree with this, when I get back into it very soon I won’t be focusing on color analysis as I too believe a woman can rock whatever with confidence as long as it complements her body shape! I’m a virtual stylist and I’m still a beginner. So right now I’m writing a questionnaire for clients, I have a good questions but still not sure if they’re good enough. Like is 13 questions a lot? Is it better to have only multiple choice? Could you pls give me tips on questions?
Hey girl hey! So you want to ask questions that will give you the answers to the information you need to best serve your clients. So think about what information you need to make sure you're providing the client with what they want and need. There is a form that clients fill out when they schedule their initial call with me but I ask even more questions during their virtual consultation. Don't feel like you have to ask all the questions at once!
