because sometimes less is more, he is not bad but I think he could have done better.
Maybe that's just not their area it's so special and various I'd you want to work with this kind of voice you have to do it properly I think

i think the issue was they were so suprised and it was a little gimiky that none of them knew what to do with it
I think it fell into the "Jack of all trades, master of none" category. He managed to show off multiple ranges in his singing at like a 7/10 instead of one range at a 10/10.
i can at first i was like the fuck? but he surprised me. hes fucking amazing
LoLiTzOmg true... but you can coach him. He can learn. If he can get to be a 9 in the three ranges, he'd be quite unique.
I've seen all 4 judges turn around for an average performance but no-one turned around for that amazing bit of singing?!?!? His voice needs a little work to strengthen his pitch and to help with the mild wobbling of his vocal ranging but a coach can do that in moments. What a joke that they didn't turn around.
They don't need any competent ones except of themselves, to be looking like they are worse then their students.

This audition went all over the place - high, low, fast, slow. Well done. Though he didn't get any chairs turned, I'm happy that he wasn't upset. It's nice when they know that this isn't the only chance they get (because they have a long road ahead just waiting for them). :)

As soon as i heard the start i was going yay for the Marilyn Manson version then he opened his mouth and i instantly cringed and hated it..

Ciaran really did push the boat out here. ALL the way, and then some, into uncharted territory. The song choice was brilliant, referring back to the gender bending 80s (ah, I remember them so well!) But whilst the opening soprano/falsetto/castrato (? - you tell me!) section was arrestingly different the following section where he descends to the bass register was dreadfully clumsy in execution, and then the bass was a bit pitchy. Whilst the 3+ octave range was wonderfully impressive it wasn't used intelligently enough to make a coherent and emotionally engaging performance. It was like a vocal gymnastic show! It's a shame, because I would have LOVED to hear Ciaran do some more with a good coach behind him.
I agree he obviously has crazy talent with his range however he used it as a gimmick and it felt really cheap! Good choice not to turn...
Ye , he did push it, but come on..You can obviously see his pontetial..I personally believe that he wanted to show up everything that he is capable of doing, by doing it the wrong way..But still he has great voice...shame that he didnt make it throught for me.
I kind of hope that he returns next year.
Soul fowl you can see the potential in his voice but the arrangement was so amateur! The judges knew that... This tells us that his voice is good but he doesn't have any artistic talent....

He was the only person in this series who really clicked for me. Why didn't they turn?! He had so much potential. His range was astonishing. I can't believe they let him go.

@@imjohndoe8307 как бы если ты умеешь брать 4 октавы и талантлив - это не значит, что тебя интересно слушать. Не всегда нужно показывать свой диапазон, он испортил песню. Ему стоило выбрать другую песню, как вариант.

Although his range was insane, I don't feel this guy has really found himself as an artist, I feel he was just trying to showcase his range rather than emotion and feeling which seems to be what the coaches are pressing for this year, a powerful voice nonetheless but not what I'd class as 'the voice'

This is a PERFECT example of doing TOO damn much. Just because you can sing every note known to man doesn't mean you should. He's talented but his voice just came across as confusing.
