Thank you for the great information, soil is so important. I have compact clay soil where I am, have been trying to mulch on top and let the bugs do the work. i often think about how much gardening refuse we ship off in recycle bins when we can use all those nutrients on the garden.
Coyotes roam freely here in suburb so no 😿 around to catch mice, moles and voles. Low volt wire surround and plant determents. No chemicals. Marty. Thank you. Your compost and garden are amazing.
Happy New Year 🍾, I've been following another channel where they've incorporated Guinea Pigs with their Chickens, maybe something you could consider instead of the Quails 🤔
We have just been given the good oil so to speak. Feed the soil FIRST then the plants. . New folks take it in baby steps heaps of people here will help you just step by step and looking at your soil, potting mix, compost bin worm farm tec will tell you what is going on with any project Just picked 19 big capsicums a heap of ever pick lettuce and a sew cucumbers heaps of spring onions bartered with local chines cafe for dinner for two anything on the menu except crayfish LL good critical thinking and observation wrks eh
Our cooler seasons up in northern Australia are our best growing seasons. Early mid 40’s most summers fry everything🍺🍺
Yer it would
you are 100% right - all about the soil. I do the same, build my own compost - rarely buy bags of soil now.
Cheers, every good gardener understands this
