I love the part where Marine starts describing the Incredibles. lol
She got that Frozone spirit in her moves
Well the Incredibles are practically the Fantastic Four anyway, so she's halfway there...
@@rade-blunner7824 I legit though that's what she was trying to remember and was even about to commend her for knowing them. Then she said red costumes and I'm like 'a'
I thought she was talking about Shazam
I actually thought she was talking about the Fantastic Four and just got the color wrong. I was actually thinking, "Well, they're close, but they're not actually part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe."
Then Fubuki started talking about the X-men, and I had to rewind to make sure they were talking about the MCU.
Marvel fans in the west: "No don't say anything I don't want spoilers!!!"
Fubuki: "So anyways here's the entire plot of the movie"
I think there's a big cultural difference there. Japanese audiences seem to be a lot more "okay" with spoilers, and furthermore if she's trying to sink the hooks of an almost 70-100 hour (depending on how you count) franchise into marine, she needs to just outright give her some of the details.
"It's a movie where the bad guy wins, but there's still a sequel. Here are some of the emotional story beats that I found really impactful" is a pretty good way to bait your hook for someone coming in blind.
Like honestly, the spoiler aversion is so toxic now, that it's getting harder and harder to Market things to people, heck even giving recommendations to friends is hard. That's why movies has "fake contents" in trailers now.
@@Kaimax61 and the worst thing is when people started calling foreshadowing (a legitimate literary device) as spoilers. It really irritates me whenever I check the comments on AoT OP or ED only to have people saying that some foreshadowing spoils the whole story.
@@Kaimax61 "Noooo don't watch the epic Jojo openings! They're full of spoilers that you won't understand because there's no context!"
There's a few reaction channels for example that picked up Jojo or One Piece specifically because the openings got them hooked. Yet they're "full of spoilers".
I've always loved spoilers and I feel they enhance my experience watching things XD
And indeed if you check Fubuki's twitter right now, she has "I love you 3000" in her name.
ahhh so she already watch the endgame...
Did you know when that happen ?
Yeah.....cuz she crying when she watch that iron man scene
@@Noriyatsu she did an End game watchalong some time in the past week
Gleoite!
" Tony Stark is Ojii-san "
-Shirakami Fubuki, 2021
"And a narcissist."
- Also Shirakami Fubuki, 2021. And an accurate description.
FBK storytelling is very convincing. She now gave me an urge to rewatch the movie and might also watch her watch-along stream.
highly recommend watching with Fubuki's watchalongs. She gets so invested in the characters.
She has several movies from the MCU leading up to End Game which is a first time watch for her.
I've never been able to accurately explain the universe like she just did wtf
Right? I never thought about the similarities to DBZ before.
Fubuki is one of the marvel's biggest fans, so no wonder why she can speedrunning marvel's movies in no time
That’s why she got the job.
Fubuki is a good storyteller .So much fun to listen to .Marine's commentary was like the cherry on top .
*_cherry?_*
@@XyleneCh cherry on top
cherry?
@@foodluver7779 cherry on top
her storytelling was so good I got Hyped more than when I watched the movie lol
FBK is really good at storytelling and even though I have watched all the movies, she gave me the urge to rewatch it. She also really managed to get Marine interested as Marine has went on to watch the Avenger Movies (as a watch-along in her member streams) and the next one on her list would be Civil War.
Thank you for the subs 👍🏼
Marine was doing watchalongs too?
If I join her membership now will I get access to those old member streams?
If not I'll just watch Fubuki's again XD
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. I have been waiting for someone to translate FBK's nerding over this franchise for weeks ever since she revealed that she's a fan. I'd donate to you if i could bruh
Holy sh*t... Ive watched The Avengers a lot of times.... And when Fubuki described her experience watching it, i wanna watch it again.... She is just THAT good at storytelling, i was fcking hooked.... She captured and displayed the scenes which i thought she wouldnt, like the Spiderman scene, Tony's weakness, WandaVision, etc. I love her
It’s interesting that something as massive as the MCU is so niche in Japan.
But then again I bet Japan felt the same way when the west finally discovered Jojo.
I wonder if Fubuki watched the english version or the japanese version, cause I feel like it loses a lot when translated into another language (watched the filipino dub)
@@licklicklick1232 I mean the Japan dub is fairly faithful
It’s interesting how different genres are for the different parts of the world.
Like you said, the MCU is one of our biggest markets here in the west but not so much in Japan
On the other hand, the Dragon Quest series is absolutely huge in Japan whilst not really being a thing here
@@zzskyninjazz1821 Most of the Marvel characters are not crazy popular in Japan but Spider-Man specifically is insanely popular over there. He’s had a long history in Japan.
"The theater would most likely be really noisy"
It was the opposit. After everyone vanished everyone was silent even after the credits.
I keep coming back and watching this every now and then because the enthusiasm from FBK is so infectious, and you can feel Marine just getting dragged into it. So good.
I rarely ever think about how there are people who know little to nothing about the MCU franchise, but ofc that'd be the case.
I always love watching the reactions of 1st time watchers and how they get more and more invested in the ever-expanding world and towards the impending Endgame. Fubuki did a great job of not only picking Marine's interest (in a mere 11 minutes mind you) but also getting her legit curious to learn more about the MCU. I really love senchou and having her go through the rollercoaster that is the MCU would be nothing less than a high class treat.
#When2RabbitholesCollide
It's amazing that even with the language and cultural barriers Fubuki still managed to touch on having the most sympathy for Peter dying, the long wait for the next movie, and falling in love with Loki's character like a regular American.
Fubuki nerding out over Marvel is probably the best thing I've heard today.
I mean, Disney owns The Incredibles and Marvel so Marine's not totally off-base there.
And the Incredibles are a spin on the Fantastic Four, which is Marvel, and whose latest movie must have done some okay advertising over there, since Korone used them as a mnemonic for "four". Then again, Korone's old enough to remember the other movies...
@@MegaZeta omg i never realised that.. they literally have the same powers... well except dash but the others do...
And just when you thought you cant love Fubuki enough, she goes full Marvel fangirl on Marine. Yes!
FBK really turned this episode into a Marvel podcast lmao
ive already watch endgame and all the movies but damn i want to listen to fubuki tell the story from start to end . she makes it super interesting
I remember watching Infinity War in a local theater with my cousins. Initially we were so hyped and couldn't stand still in line, and personally I was as quiet as possible to absorb all the info. (Coz I was our group's explainer) But the ending tho... The place was completely silent, with just sounds of disbelief echoing in the theater. When we left we were just talking about when Endgame was gonna come out.
Man FBK's storytelling is something else. I watched most MCU films (on TV tho, not rich enough to afford the cinema experience everytime) and it really is awesome.
mine was similiar and alot people crying over their heroes fail to save the world and died as dust back then, that is golden experience for me to feel hopeless back then too
I didn't know they still did this. If only I knew Japanese to listen to them myself
Avengers ❌❌
Marvel Smash Bros ✔️✔️
I would love to simply just listen to Fubuki re-telling the plot of all the MCU movies. I don’t need to see the movies again because I’ve watched them multiple times, but listening to someone explaining the plot really well like how Fubuki did will give me a new sensation of the experience. It’s like Marvel experience, but with Hololove’s taste.
Otaku Fubuking voice like a diff person LOL
That's how you know it's uncontrollable passion.
I remember watching Infinity War and crying at the end. There were various reactions of sadness in the theater and is something I’ll never forget.
Teeechnically Civil War is a Captain America movie but it definitely feels more like an Avengers one XD
Worried she was going to cry. She cried almost as much as I did.
I love how passionate FBK is about this!
Thanks for subbing these!
The way she talks about the individual characters' movies enriching the mainline movie experience isn't really all that different from how Hololive collabs are enriched by our experiences of watching the individual members' streams.
thank you for always translating the radios
Thank you for translating this. I couldn’t watch it live because the browser broke, and hololive twitter retweeted this episode having marvel content so I had to rewatch it later. Seeing Friend talking about marvel makes me smile all the time
It's really good to see how passionate fubuki is about marvel, I think she did a really good job enticing Marine to watch. I actually haven't watched Endgame myself but I might pop it on with fubuki's archive one of these days
Everyone, if you enjoy watching Fubuki's streams, make sure to watch Fubuki's reaction to Avengers: End Game.
did you have any link to watch it
@@Noriyatsu ua-cam.com/video/ZzK_AKdC13E/v-deo.html
That's the original stream. If you want to see translated clips, you might need to search for them.
This makes me want to rewatch the whole Infinity Saga again.
Fubuki's really good at this.
Unlike me who can't get a single coherent point out when trying to explain a series that I like.
Might as well watch infinity war and endgame with Fubuki's watchalong stream archive.
[Shirakami Fubuki] Avengers: Infinity War Speedrun any%
And thus we have been having Avengers watch alongs with Senchou lately.
Is it members streams? I haven't seen it in her archives
For fubuki i was able to watchalong with her, girl cried her heart out
@@gachagamer536 Yeah, Senchou watch along have been on the member streams, last movie was Civil war.
@@IgaziKenyer damnn, thanks broo
Do tell, has she been REALLY hooked with Avengers/Marvel? And who's her fav i wonder
Thanks
Fubuki is an evil genius, leaving Marine on a cliffhanger like that.
i already watched all the movie but i want to rewatch it after fubuki tell the entire story
Marine, upon hearing Thanos' plan: "But can I provide a critique of that idea?"
Based Senchou
Raise your hand if you cry at theater watching endgame
Find yourself a girl that talks passionately about nerd stuff like fubuki
As long as they don't try to get into the comics, they should be fine, the MCU is still easy to understand. Unlike the comics where everything is a clusterF
I tend to take for granted the fact that some grew up reading the comics, and know every nook and cranny of that whole universe of marvel, similar to people like Marine who know of stories like HxH and DBZ by heart
@@eruphin3601 At least mangas usually have only 1 writer / mangaka. Comics have different writers for each story arc and most of the time they don't even bother with what is canon and what is not until the fans started to complaint.
Then they just reset the whole universe
@@izzadk86 Ah yes, so many reboots
@@izzadk86 I wish they make a chart like what they did in IDW comics in japan
holy **** i love fubuki
Fubu-chan making me reconsider watch this movies W:
"loki is for another time"
a hornier time I'm gonna assume
Talking to them about how much of a lifeless nerd I am who's obsessed with comics must be so much fun
I already liked Fubu-chan, now i love her.
Has Fubuki ever reacted to Yuichi Nakamura being the Japanese dub voice actor for Captain America?
Hardcore MCU fans: here is the entire chronological list of all the mcu movies and tv shows so you could follow the story and not miss any references.
Fubuki: I watched whatever interests me and enjoyed it anyway. (Not a diss on hardcore fans, just like how people consume media differently).
Well, technically she followed the avenger timeline chronologically, so praise and joy for all fans alike
It's all according to Subaru's Keikaku
Translator's Note: Subaru's Keikaku means Duck's Plan
TL Note: Duck means Ahiru (アヒル)
Fubuki was a Loki fan, who would have expected that...?
Funny how Marine knows The Incredibles but not the MCU. Great to hear them talking Marvel though. That was a great run of movies.
I swear if fubuki is a character in a shonen manga her talk no jutsu can end the manga in its first chapter
I totally love fubuki that much more from her being into marvel like yasss superfox fan 💕 legit love how she compared the infinity stones to the dragonballs lmao 🤣
That was the Incredible isn't? Still this bring a smile to my face (alright I will see myself out 😌)
Im sure she'll cry if she knows what will happen to her favorite iron-man
She did cry lmaoooo
Man if Stan lee would be smiling knowing people from other countries are interested in marvel
Tbf, Toei And Stan has worked together since the 70s, he clearly knew
I know it would be a feat to accomplish, but I wish someone would translate at least the highlights of the watch-alongs, maybe with the accompanying scene edited in if it's not a problem.
Gah. Now I also want to see Marine do a watchalong stream.
I'm surprised that Fubuki didn't mention that Captain America is voiced by her favorite seiyuu in the Japanese dub
man i wish i could rant with fubuki about avengers
Fubuki watch all spiderman movies? She will be pleased with the upcoming Spiderman movie...
first youtube video I saw which had NO dislikes and 1k likes (5/28/2021)
I wonder if Fubuki knows that there will be a 'Phase 4' after Endgame. And since she's a Loki fan, does she know that there's a Loki Disney+ show?
Im sure our JP bros will tell her.
Our friend have been retweeting tv spots of Loki, she's definitely a fangirl
did she just..... spoil almost all the main parts of avengers?
Spoiler culture isn’t really a thing in Japan. It’s not like here where you get murdered if you even mention anything in the movie
I don't watch superhero films, but fubuki's explanation sounds interesting
Now i can't wait to see if marine will make a wacthalong too
She has, but it's members only
FBK: *All according to keikaku*
TL Note: keikaku means plan
Shuba shuba shuba did I hear someone said something about avengers?
Well since the studios called Endgame "The most ambitious *crossover* event of history"
comparing it with Smash Bros is... alright, I guess.
6:51 We all asked the same thing, Senchou.
FBK truly got awesome taste...
first Mads Mikklesen
then Tom Hiddleston
hope she watch Dr.Strange and seeing her crush on there as villain
i wanna see her reaction lol
*Dormamu! I've come-*
I know this is late, but has Marine seen any of these movies since then?
Also, is there a way to check if other Holomems have played/watched something on stream? Like say how Subaru and Fauna both played AC4.
Seriously, Fubuki is extremely good in explaining Avengers and the MCU. Even I am getting hooked and wanting to watch it now. And I've already watched every single one XD
Completely unrelated. But I want them to talk about elder scrolls lore.
I'm sure Fubuki & Marine dont read the comments here. But I saw kids crying in my theater
There was a kid who screamed when bad end came with infinity war, a chorus of pain soon came after, and soon the theater was just... sad
Fubuki your money sacrifice for Kakkin (microtransaction), will never be forgotten!
Fubuki is just really good at convincing, she could probably can sell me a Bluray of Avengers when I already had one... No actually make it two xD
FBK: Avengers fangirl noises
Raylight: *I'LL TAKE YOUR ENTIRE STOCK*
having my friend Fubuki explain the Avengers so i dont have to watch it,
SINNER!
But dragon balls are wishing stones that summon shenron and infinity stones are fundamental power stones.
*Forbidden M&M's*
🤩
I do agree with marine on this one. But rather than making food, I would rather make a candy continent, like the candy factory. That way, people won’t get hungry and the population also wont grow that big because most people die from diabetes
Double food Note: those who hold the food get more food instead of those who don't have food, so double food plan was originally a bad bad, instead of a good good
The feeling of having to wait an entire year for the continuation... yep it was pretty shit. It was like Madoka going on hiatus after the whole earthquake shebang, granted that was just a month and not a year.
Also trying to avoid spoilers due to some people watching it before you, different global release dates. I kinda went eh fuckit and ended up watching it alone with shitty front row seats and my neck craned up cause I didn't want to risk it being spoiled.
I noticed this the last few clips too but they have points now? I assume it's from previous untranslated episode. Can someone explain to me how it work?
For now I've only seen Fubuki use them, does Marine not have point? How does Fubuki get point? What can she use point for?
So did Fubuki already watched Infinity War and Endgame before she did the watchalong streams or does she just know the plot?
(I think this was aired 1-2 days before the Infinity War watchalong)
This radio show was prerecorded, which leads to a lot of fun factors like if she read the wiki or not. My guess is that she got general observations and a certain duck to tell her bits of the story itself
is there a way to listen to previous episode?
So did fubuki believed that thanos did nothing wrong?
Makes me wonder if Fubuki watched the original English version with subtitles, or the Japanese dub. I only think about it because of Keiji Fujiwara being the dub for Robert Downy Jr.
I miss that man.
Funny how Marine can see the hole in IW plot in mere seconds because of how they changed Thanos’main motivations to make him more relatable but with the infinity Gems it makes no sense. We mostly just ignore it because IW has so much other amazing stuff going on. I guess in the end the change was the wise choice since everyone loves what they did with IW Thanos and have no issues overlooking a major plot hole. Hell even RLM gave them a pass lol
fubuki fan girling again XD
*Marvel Cinematic Universe*
Marine: Batman?
:D
FBK just shootin the spoilers, though i guess most people have already watched it.
Avengers Endgame is basically just a grumpy single father who tried to end world hunger with his rock collection.
the last fight... a year of feelings wasted...
what are the rules of this game
why did fubuki have to pay because marine wanted more?
shouldnt she have sacrificed some of her points, begging to hear the end?
fubuki is a good storyteller
she made it sound a lot better then it actually was
Why Batman in Marvel Universe?
They don't know much about the companies of Marvel and DC, and tend to mix it up. Most people not into the comics/cinematics tend to get that kind of stuff wrong (since they don't really know the difference like Suisei's shotacon and shounencon) do please forgive them.
But Fubuki spoiled the whole movie...
Also its funny that japanese people like Avengers cuz its basically anime plot anyway. lol
