Amelie - I am also 17, live in CA and share your same passions! In the fall of 2022 I moved to Spain for three months to play soccer for an academy and I've also traveled to a ton of countries in Central America. Living in a Spanish speaking country was such a phenomenal experience and I would completely recommend pursuing what it is like to live outside of the US. Travel is an enormous part of my life and a gap year after high school sounds so freaking amazing. We share so many of the same goals, attributes and priorities and I'm so glad that I have you as inspiration on the days I want to give up. Keep doing you- knowing who we are at this age is so amazing.
