- Visiting my country as a Muslim for the first time! I initially came to Trinidad as part of @UthmanIbnFarooqOfficial Dawah trip to the Caribbean. Shaykh Uthman, the brothers from MUBASHIRUN and MUSLIMS IN NEED were refused entry at the border for reasons still unknown to us. This setback does not deter us. Allah does as He wills.

If I wasn't trini and didn't have family there, I wouldn't be going akhi. I love my country but the fitna is real... I mean, it's the Caribbean after all.
@@AkhounaAdeOfficial Thank you for your honesty brother. The only Caribbean nation I’ve been to is the Dominican Republic and to be honest, the vibe didn’t quite feel right. The place I’ve always felt most at home is either Malaysia or the Middle East

very interesting, im muslima in europe,always wondered how the trinidad muslims are living like overthere, the reality,because all we get to see overhere is that there are muslims overthere but also alot of kafir,exactly this part we never see. @@aftarkhan286 Nobody "forced" Christianity on Slaves in the Caribbean in fact it was ILLEGAL to convert Slaves to Christianity least the Slaves start demanding rights like other Christians, just as it was illegal to teach enslaved person to read and write. Read about Fredrick Douglas life.
What’s dawah? Does it mean call to Islam? If so, then say “call to Islam “ or use the meaning of it in the local language. Muslim should make sure they’re conveying the message of Allah and not imposing foreign language to people. All languages are created by Allah, none is superior to other ones!
