To be fair, I didn't even know the repair depot costs money. The repair tool sure, but the depot? Are the costs for Technic outpost the same? How about Repair shops?

I think the Tech Outpost is basically a buffed depot that can defend itself from enemies and capture, but the repair shops deliver free repairs to the owner's vehicles all across the battlefield.

Never knew engineer repair cost was comparably higher in some cases.
Maybe repairing super weapon would be a bit more comparable in cost?

Engineer may be more expensive but it has the added benefit of instantly repairing a building. It could come in clutch especially when a superweapon is almost ready to launch.
