It’s crazy how I just saw that video last night and woke up to this today. I love my life right now lol just gotta figure out how the fuck to get $450 😂
@@Sandy-dd4le I don’t really understand your question because this pedal is clearly labeled, but if you’re asking which Walrus Audio pedal is a standalone granular focused then the Fable is the way to go. Keep in mind though that while it’s a great pedal, the Fable is not stereo, doesn’t have MIDI control, and already goes for $300 new. If it were me and I didn’t already have all of them I would 100% spend the extra $150 for three more pedals (stereo chorus, dual mono multi tap delay, stereo reverb w/ tilt EQ) that I can repatch into parallel at the press of a button… kinda sells itself.
I don't think so, these are completely new algorithms and the algorithms are completely different than what's on those pedals. I have the Lore and I can tell you that there's literally nothing on the market quite like it. Yes, I purchased the Qi Etherealizer as well. Can you get similar sounds? Not really, will your mind tell you they're similar just by going off the demo alone? Sure. Will this realistically kick my Lore off the board? No, it will go next to it because they do different things and call for different situations.
So this looks awesome, and what's more I live under a rock and somehow hadn't heard of Yvette Young before so I am listening to the album Technicolor by her band COVET and I love it. So that's two awesome things. Thank you!
Everyone enjoys a little Knobs format for pedal demos now. Very clean but still gives the creative atmosphere many of us look for when trying new sounds.
I do remember my first pedal from Walrus, Julia. I fell in love with the sound that you guys were producing through that pedal. And now this? I should buy one of those! Absolutely ❤ My favorite in the minute 7:22
This looks great. I have a Mako Series MKI: M1 High-Fidelity Modulation Machine and my one complaint is some of the functions are abstracted or hidden enough that it's not always intuitive what you are changing. This seems to be much more accessible to someone that doesn't have the manual in front of them and you really gold plated it by making it stereo, letting users save presets, and including midi capabilities. Being able to run it in series or parallel is definitely my favorite feature though.
Was it a intentional choise to not feature Yvette as the person playing through this demo? I am slightly confused why not. Unless she want this pedal not to be too attached to her image and one not needing to be a fan of her to get this.
She was on tour for over a month, which was when we had to film In time for the release. We’ve got a full band demo with her coming soon that we just filmed last week!
Beautiful work crafting this! It's full of inspiration and ear candy! I just ordered another pedal with much similarities to this BUT I'm sure there's enough differences to have them both!
Hi Walrus, this sounds absolutely stunning and the parallel is a superb ideal. Can you give us more info on that Strat with the gold foil, P90 and Lipstick, killer sounding thing. Thank you
Kinda had the same thought, I'm currently shopping for huge ambient reverb/effects and was considering Rooms or new GFI reverb/delay, but this might be interesting alternative
nooooo!! I'm not going to buy this. no no no. holy mother of.. this is an awesome pedal. when I just said, I think I'm done with my pedalboard, then you release this.
Well, this pedal is all fine and dandy but I’m looking for a pedal that gives me a pronounced mid hump with some drive. Something that maybe sounds like a tube being overloaded and screaming in pain. Now if you made something like that, I might be interested!
"Feels so good to have my stereo board finished. " ~ Me
"Hahaha!!" ~ Walrus Audio
Hold my beer.
Thats why we make new boards
I have a mono board but I ordered it because it has what I want for church and to finish my mono board. Who needs stereo?
@@GearSmackMusicme 😂
Wow. When Yvette made that comment in that Rig Rundown video I was excited to see what would eventually come from it - this is amazing.

if there’s one thing to know about YY it’s that she’s a total boss and gets it DONE
that This Will Destroy You riff works so fine with it. Love the new one !
so this is basically elements of the Lore, Fable, Julia and ARP-87 in a single pedal?! MADNESS. Keep it coming!
In stereo with MIDI control no less.
Which is the granular part?....its the only bit I'm interested in.

@@saggygnaw yes that was what I was asking, though at that price, I think I'll check the competition too.

thats sooooo true. knobs created the new review/introduction method.
Seems like a great multi effect that with presets can be super versatile as each effect sounds fantastic on its own. Well done
Love the This Will Destroy You snippet in the parallel section. What a killer song.
Sounds so good!! Props to the team. 👏
Still have my OG Julia. Can't believe we're finally here!!

6:31 this will destroy you is one of the best bands of all time. This pedal perfectly encapsulated the sound of Threads!!
YES!
which track is that?
I know it but can't remember which one it is
My favorite pedal company keeps getting better.
I am extremely excited right now 🧡
Sounds beautiful. Well done, Walrus!
Thank you!!
ya'll crushing it! Sounds rad!
I've never pre-ordered so fast in my life!!!! ❤
Thank you!!
This is beautiful 😭👏🏽
💛💛
Wow! This thing is so interesting! I’m getting one!
LET ME RUN SYNTHESIZERS THROUGH THIS
I thought for a second this thing didn’t have midi support I was bouta be so upset! Thank you!!
Sounds really great ❤
This is so fantastic.
That sound at 7:22 is gorgeous
This will be my next purchase as soon as I pay off my BigSky MX.

what is that strat with the goldfoil and lipstick pickups?
I know right? Definitely custom but I'd love something like that as a mainline offering.

@@walrusaudioeffects That makes sense. Killer aesthetic thru the whole demo video ✨
Yall are really going to make me sell my lore
Right? I only got mine last month
It cants reverse like the lore, it is different.
7:21 is all I needed to hear...
Welp, I'm sold
Nice!
Were they going into an ampsim pedal / software or real amp? Sounds great
Tracked through our ACS1 Amp Cab Sim with some occasional light gain from the Voyager Overdrive MKII.
You should put that in the description because it sounds phenomenal
THIS IS IT
Are the delay and chorus analog both?
Who cares lol it’s a beautiful pedal.
@@O.W_Films Hello enzo.

Will it do ping pong delay too ?
así debe sonar el cielo 🥹💕
will this be limited or will it be around for a while
Here to stay!
And so it begins…
So this is what they said would go well with the Matthews Effects Technician
HNNNNNNNNNG! Need it
I just bought the Sloer... how does this compare to it ? Should I just sell it to someone else and get this new one instead ? ...
They are nothing alike!
Massively different. The sloer is great for huge atmospheric reverb. It would pair well with the QI
Kinda had the same thought, I'm currently shopping for huge ambient reverb/effects and was considering Rooms or new GFI reverb/delay, but this might be interesting alternative
Question, how is this routed?
Watch through and you can see how you can route it parallel or series!
@@walrusaudioeffects I think he asked about amplifier/mic
Sounds of Mewtwo rising from his tank ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Compare to Matthew Technician?
YASSSS!!!!
TWDY. for the win.
Damn. Might return my used Fable and get this instead.
Daaaaaaaaang
🤯
Ok this will replace my QC
Jeez QC does a lot lol. But I use a nano and just buy a bunch of rad effect pedals.

time to sell the big sky
…is that Joel from Chasebliss? lol
So I finished the video. Who wants to buy a lore? I need to try and afford this 😅
TONE knob could be a more useful tilt style eq! would be perfect Walrus
Seconded!
Submarine p/u, 6x6 matrix mixer, and the rest is a secret 😂
If this pedal is nearing the price of the Meris Mercury X, well…
It isn’t.
Clicked so fast
Respectfully, the fact you’re not also demo’ing this with a synth is silly from a marketing perspective.
So, how many hundreds of dollars is this going to cost me? Will I need to start scoping out some banks to rob?😂
449 right now it seems, but ships next month
Will this replace my chorus, reverb and delay? Are all the effects on at once all the time with no way to switch them off or on?
Did you watch the video?
@ didn’t have time to, hence the question, my kids won’t shut up lol
@ it’s written on the screen - you can toggle each effect off/on with a button on the pedal or with midi.
@@_Doom_20 8:28 in the video.
@@DrtydeedsI didn’t watch that far 😅
Is this a gamechanger? 😲😲😲
It would be nice if you could find a guitar player that plays more than campfire chords
STOP. IT.
😊
$450….. ya no thanks
Another useless breath box
Thank you for adding engagement to our video. 🙂
This pedal is horrible!!
