Any dads out there who, like me, were 13 or so when the first Indiana Jones movie lit up our silver screens, just KNOWS what they will be doing this Christmas. In those quiet Christmas moments, when the kids are playing with their novelties and the adults are slumbering through a Disney movie whilst digesting their Christmas dinner, we will be sneaking off to our man-caves, dens and studies to fire up our devices and relive the glory days of our youths, in search of, “fortune and glory, kid . . . fortune and glory.” A very merry, action packed, puzzle solving, Nazi bashing Christmas to you all. This is MY, “dad game.”
@ProtocolAbyss : It’s always subjective, so I don’t like to tell people they’re wrong to like something, but for me personally, I would watch the first three movies, in that order. The middle one has some flaws, but probably the best opening sequence. The third one has Sean Connery and they literally ride off into the sunset, which made for an ending for me.
@@JurassicJoey17 : Why would you reach that conclusion from my words? I’m just speaking to what I identify with. I don’t identify with women, so I cannot speak to what it feels like to be them. But I am a middle aged man who loves Indie, and I can speak for men like me. Duh.
Seems like a trip down memory lane via waltzing Medal of Honor style from one set piece history lesson to another - great stuff & well paced review, too💫
In the hour or two I've played of this so far, I was trying to put my finger on what this game is most similar to. Is it Wolfenstein? Tomb Raider? Uncharted? Then it hit me. This game plays like Dishonored. It's an Indiana Jones flavored Dishonored. Inspiration taken in equal part from both. And it's really well done!
Solid review GamesRadar! Indiana Jones and The Great Circle looks amazing, Machine Games have truly captured the vibe and feel of the movies perfectly! It’s the biggest surprise of 2024 and the perfect end to the year. Excited to play the game. 🤠
The pinnicle of film/video game adaptions I think so far, and we've had a few good ones recently with Robocop & Harry Potter. I don't think Machine Games could have blended experience together better to recreate the feeling of being inside an Indy movie. The pacing is perfect, solving puzzles feels just like how they play out in the movies, action is perfect blend of action, fun & humerous moments just like movies, cut scenes ARE literally the movies. Its environments are graphically stunning and first person perspective was easily the right decision to experience them for me. Plus they had a handhelp map! My god finally another game chose keep that in game, baffles me not every game does. Theres a couple of extra customisation options I wish had & admittedly the charater models look bit janky, but overall the only real downside I had playing is it had to end! Craving more dlc already and a sequel.
Can't wait for two weeks where i'll get game pass and try and do Indy, Stalker2 and fit in a few hours of the darts. Who needs a ps5 as i'm still grand with a measly Series S
The game definitely peaked before the last act but I'll say I was mostly 'giddy as a school boy'. 8.5 and best Indy game for sure but also best Lucasfilm game in a LOOOONG TIME
Working perfectly for me on PC day 1, only minor bugs and great performance. Sounds like you're salty you can't play it yet. Btw, thanks for all of the beta testing for Sony games before the PC ports! It's been great playing the best possible versions of those titles at a cheaper price, better graphical fidelity and a higher frame rate than the PS5 pro would ever be able to achieve! 😊
No, it’s super smooth and fun. It’s not like Metal Gear Solid where people are gonna react immediately and punish you for being quick and loose dashing into cover. It’s very fluid and comical, more like Hitman and Chronicles of Riddick

I'm 18 never got to see which indiana to watch. which one should I start on and what should I not watch?
Are women not allowed to play? 😂 Your comment is hysterical.. Especially on a video of a woman that played it.

If you've played chronicle of Riddick, then you'll know it's more like that

It’s the biggest surprise of 2024 and the perfect end to the year. Excited to play the game. 🤠
These developers should make a new Punisher game
You mean best adventure since Fate of Atlantis. Which was great!

This seems like it would work very well in VR. Would be nice if the PS5 version had that next year
I can’t stop playing this game. Sooooo goooood
I HOPE THEY RELEASE THIS ON THE SWITCH 2. THEY SHOULD MAKE AN M RATED SEQUEL WITH A SIMILAR FEELING TO THE TEMPLE OF DOOM.
Glad I got it with xbox game pass ultimate on my xbox series x.🥂😏
5/5
Very nice. Waiting for ps5 release

Why wouldn’t you get a Series X and a PS5? 🤔
@@charliezobel511 too old.. prices went up
Both of these games are coming to ps5
Who would want a PS5 when you can not own all of xbox's mediocre games.
@@AT-5000_Autodialer about 10 games I can do without. Not worth 4-500 for what ff7 & demons souls again! PS4 for wuteva else
Greatfull as It should be.
That’s not a word
Thats what Troy Baker would have said "I am Indiana Jones" ❤ love the game and review
do you want a cookie professor chaos?
Is it just me or this Indy game model is combination of Harrison Ford and Troy Baker? 🤔
The game definitely peaked before the last act but I'll say I was mostly 'giddy as a school boy'. 8.5 and best Indy game for sure but also best Lucasfilm game in a LOOOONG TIME
Rings of Power is the best show of the year?
I would retitle this vid and put Best adventure since Fate of Atlantis
Better than Fate of Atlantis?
WOWWW
Shout out to the Microsoft beta testers. Getting all the bugs out before it's actually released next spring
😴
That's like saying PlayStation does all the beta testing for the eventual PC release of their games. Kinda idiotic.
Every Movie is going eventually from cinema to free tv
The game runs very well. Go cry somewhere else

Ponies crying so much 😂😂😂😂
2024 buddy they have both👍🏿
Us pc chads are busy playing whatever the hell we choose... Life's good when you get both sets of "exclusives".
This is a great review for homosexuals, thank you Maddy!
Most thought the DEI disaster that was the most recent movie destroyed indiana jones forever. I'm glad to see that's not the case thankfully.
DEI??? 🤣🤣 🤦🏽♂️
Naw, gonna pass. Marvel Rivals looks 100% more fun.
Next time give the REVIEW TEXT to Josh himself to voice over, your voice is so annoying! No offence
How can you say something incredibly rude, and then follow up with no offense? Best you had not said anything at all my man.
You must love being an incel huh?
No 3rd person mode,no buying
The Robocop game was first person and that was good
lol ok zoomer
Gonna play it next year
This is just a slower thief clone 7 out of 10
Oh sounds like you've played it so you're in a good position to give it a review.
This looks like a AAA Deadfall Adventures.
The "stealth" looks jank af.....is that the case when actually playing this game?
