Who would have thought that with a film that expired 30 years ago. I really like the vintage character of the photos and it really has something special. 👌
This was great to watch! I actually like the authentic grainy vintage feel of the photos, but thats just me 😁. You’re little one is adorable, by the way! Thanks for sharing 😊
What a sweetheart! And your daughter is lovely too. I loved her Life of Brian comment about her arm being scratched followed by a bright and cheery "But not this one". I thought the photos were very worthwhile.
Interesting results, I guess a much brighter day would give the best chance of getting anything half good. I've got a roll of boots film from 2006, I'll have to give it a try. I've added your channel, hopefully you'll connect with a retro film photographer.👍
You really captured a nice tone for the video; I felt very much like I was watching ‘Arabella in Wonderland.’ I think the expired film made it seem like I was looking at an old book of Lewis Carroll’s illustrations. Also, at the beginning of the film Arabella was rubbing her arm, and then, at the end, I saw red marks,, and I thought she handled herself really well because clearly she wasn’t wrong about feeling a little sting or scratch. 💪 she’s a tough 🍪 cookie and enjoyed the walk anyway!
Wow, considering the film age, that it was probably cheapo rebranded "whatever" when new, it's probable poor storage, and what looks like light leakage in the camera, it's surprising that he got anything at all. It gives me hope for a film freeze with several hundred dollars (new) worth of not as expired film.
It’s why I never shoot it! Never know what your going to get! But it was interesting to see that if I shot it in better light I would have had (slightly) better results !
Like the video. I have some way expired color reversal film I'm going to use. While you overexposed your boots film by a couple stops, I think I this would not work well with reversal films. I'll probably expose it at the correct setting or maybe a half stop over. There are not many places that still develop slide film anymore. I'm wondering if it should be pushed in the processing. I'm going to use it for unimportant photos till I have a better handle on how it will perform.
How cute my niece! Beautiful setting and some real nostalgia to the photos.
Nice to get some pictures from it! Need to thank Mr Day for the film!!
Fun video and some cool shots. And my goodness your daughter is adorable!
Aww thanks so much Monique! was a fun day

Why does anyone want to shoot expired film?…

Ha thanks Lisa! She was a little star thats for sure! I spared everyone the meltdown when she did it after falling off a tree log :)
Crazy look, but not bad.
