That absolute legend at the beginning, he drew way more fire and survived way longer than he ought to have lol. I really like the outline only though! The names can be too intrusive but the outline is subtle enough just so I know where people are.
this might sound stupid but at 40:00 they should just re-groupe and copy the push they did at the start of the match. stack INF in IFV and get close while supressing with the IFV's. the first attack is one of the best combined arms done with multiple IFV's and squad's i have seen in this game so far
Yeah watching that I was sure the terries would win, but by the 40 minute mark they had the canadian armor to worry about. Don't think it would have gone as well but definitely would have been better.
I agree. I tried to organise something but we were a bit too spread out. And by the time we did, we were too late. But we did well to get to the city at all so that's a win in my books
@@aussieskull1912 Canadian defense force wasn't that good.. imagine if there was a refinery fob at the beginning with a TOW up on the oil silos.. maybe a couple of towers and MG bunkers.. the MGs would have had defilade fire onto the backside of the bridge.. woulda been great. The ToW position would have had great shots on the entire map.
Fun fact: this isn’t the LAV VI, it’s not even the LAV III: that’s the LAV II, also known as the Coyote reconnaissance vehicle. It’s due for retirement, as it’s not as new as the LAV VI’s, but still does the job fine.
41:00 THIS is the exact reason you should NEVER leave a logi outside of the building where you place a radio! It's a dead giveaway of the radio's location!! Great job on IMnoob on noticing it and finding the radio so easily :D
Pretty sure IMnoob ghosted that radio position.. there was actually so much ghosting and intel crossing between the two teams its insane... there was no reason for IMnoob to even be out there.. same thing for that guy at the beginning that took the transport solo and "ran across" the logi.. or the guy that shot that tank in the butt with his RPG.. shit like that should not happen.. and if there isn't intel sharing.. it doesn't happen. Pretty impossible to police.. just wish everyone would like.. not cheat.. and shit. Would make the games so much better.
The leopard was a game changer, while yes it did take many shots let’s not forget that the Leopard2A6 is a 3rd generation advanced while their T62s were 2nd at best. Overall a very fun video to watch
Body outlines really help tell us whats going on in the area, especially when theirs chaos you can see what each team is aiming to accomplish when storming a point, or when its a massive CQB MOUT fight. The names are cool when its not crowded, it give an esports feel. No outlines isnt really prefered, its fine when their isnt too much stuff going on in the picture, like when its a one on one fight.
This is like watching a Men of War game where the Player is the Insurgents and the AI is the Canadians. I think that the Insurgents had a massive advantage from the start but they made some truly smooth brain plays. A lot of dudes just kind of wandering around by themselves getting smoked for nothing, ya one of them managed to take out a rally which helps but so many of them just died without even taking an insurgent with them.
At first I was wondering why MOI had reposted this video but I realized that I had actually watched his live stream when all this happened. Cool to see a recap of what happened live
that first leopard was sooo lucky, if i was in that crew i wouldn’t be cresting over the burn unless commander had visual on target, keep it behind cover so you don’t make yourself a sitting duck in the open. i would also have made sure to try to keep my tracks hidden whenever possible behind cover to not get hit and immobilized
I know this is an old video but I it’s just a testament of how much BRILLIANT squad content you put out, thanks Moi for all the awesome content gentlesir
For outlines - 90% off, 10% on. Turn on occasionally so we can see where everyone is, and then turn off so we can watch informed battles without distractions.
Outlines with names forsure when its on high drone view. Once you come down for the close up views, it looks better without it because too many names bunch up. But from a higher view it gives great reference for team position and strategy understanding.
As a Canadian myself (the a10 is just my favorite plane) I can attest to our stubbornness when facing odds that are not in our favor as well as our tactics against a larger enemy If u look up some very important battles in WW1 Canadians played a large role in capturing strategic locations
Brother I have been waiting so long for exactly what you are doing with this channel! My favorite layers are INS v MILITIA.... Always fun, especially for seeding/skirmish! Would love to see one like that!
Squad is the true Battlefield successor. This is what people wanted and is here. I hope that in 2022 the game gets more support. I've finally got a game that really depicts the scale of a real battle. Mistakes are not forgiven here. If you make one you are dead, exactly like any war conflict.
Bought the game because of your videos. Fun game, i still sucks but getting there. Its cool to play on same server and people start to remember me. Keep up with good videos
A lot of fantastic individual plays. The INS played this round well initially using their indirect fire to hammer the points. Vehicles also did great working closely with the infantry. The shootouts between the infantry were also very entertaining.
This layer definitely is unbalanced with the amount of armor and arty they can field. They already get lots of special roles with explosives so that much armor and their mortars + hellcanons were mad overkill lmao
My humble suggestion : After taking flag 2, the direct way from flag 2 to 3 is just one open field : pretty deadly and stupid to go there. Let's have half the infantry stay on flag 2 (and a bit south of it) with mortar / hell canon + spg9 / Dhsk emplacement to pound the shit of the flag 3. This will keep the enemy busy, plus can help defend if canadians decide to push back. Other half of infantry regroup at main and move at once to take Refinery (like it was actually done in this game but too late). They set up 2 FOBS (one closer to the water and one a bit West, closer to flag 3). Finally, from those many spaws, they move on to flag 3. All vehicles should try to stay between the 2 infantry groups, due North of the flag 3. They provide cover with fire with 2 tanks, BMP, rockets barrage etc... Any special situation arising and they can be ask to move either back to flag 2, or to the refinery, for assistance. If the enemy Leopard want to move to get those vehicle, he will have to expose his left flank to the infantry positions holding up at flag 2. If he choose to go East, it's in the city, and it sucks to be a tank inside a city. "Plans are useless but planning is indispensable"
Hope to see an eye in the sky match on the tactical trig server. The games tend to be sweat sessions, and the squad movement would be cool to see from “the top down”
just curious because I've noticed it through these videos but, how do players not see another guy whose like 12 feet away from them and right in their view? is the FOV really small in gameplay? or are they just camouflaged that well?
hey I'm a battlefield player but I keep hearing about this game. I very liked the gameplay style. reminds me of BF2. with battlefield going straight to shythole, 'm wondering about this game. game is from 2015 I guess. is it still alive ? does it have cheater problem like COD and BF? how is the recoil compared to BF?
2:47 this man really ran out shooting at armored vehicles dodged over 100 shots doing the wiggle wiggle 🤣
That's the main highlight imo lol. That was hilarious
Canelo Alvarez
legend
Wiggle wiggle
Hero.
These eye in the sky videos really show the scale in a Squad match. Hope to see a Insurgents vs Militia match in the future as they are mostly even.
I am obsessed with militia
the asymmetrical warfare is more entertaining imo
yes even but bro i had one match with that kind of team and it was a slaughter lol had to put a lot of effort to tell who`s enemy and who`s friendly
13:50 "Get rekt son!" -SmittyDuh, truly an icon of our time.
that was soo good and funny
That absolute legend at the beginning, he drew way more fire and survived way longer than he ought to have lol. I really like the outline only though! The names can be too intrusive but the outline is subtle enough just so I know where people are.
What I love about eye in the sky is it shows how close enemies can be without seeing eachother 😂

Canadian city? Maybe this is what Winnipeg or Calgary will look like after climate change
Southern alberta is already fairly dry so this is definitely futuristic Calgary.
Lmao my thoughts aswell
You do realize the climate changes 4 times a yr right. Think Science calls that "Seasons." This is exactly why we dont let CHILDREN run things.
It's dry snow 😂
Hahah
Good one
Having a full tank crew was actually clutch. They could spot more and repair faster.

Love this game… I have never subscribed to a channel so fast. Your voice absolutely makes this, feels like I’m watching a sports game or something lol
This has been by far the BEST combined arms operation I've seen online!! :D Good Command and Control!
I read the title and seen the thumbnail and I was so confused for a second lmao Loving the EITS videos I hope they never end

Damn, insurgents really need more T-62 to do anything against that Leopard.

Outline is good. Makes it easy to tell what bodies are doing without the clutter of tags, especially when they're stacked up on each other.

Geez, the insurgents really struggled to rally an effective offence towards the end
The hashish tends to fog them up.

You should rename the title, Insurgents attempt to take Al Basrah from occupying canadian forces
Occupying canadians*
It was originally "Canadian Held City" but that was over the title limit.
This is amazing
Thanks for doing this
It truly reveals how squad is beautiful game
This is way more interesting than soccer/football matches on tv.
Nicely narrated! o7

this game should have casted scrims .. this shows really well the potential and magnitude of this game. Well playd for both teams.
Insane cast !
Great stuff Moi.
That Leopard was WAAY too lucky
Low skill tank crew going against people who are thankfully worse
13:50 GET REKT SON!
This reminds me that cross team local voip needs to be a thing
That tank crew was really good. Worked as a team. Reminded me of the movie “Fury” 😂
Was waiting for this one to drop. Being in that btr was insane lol
57:30 Exactly! They stopped coordinating at that point and all did their own thing and that's why they lost...
these videos are awesome. best squad videos out there.

I think you are doing the right balance between with and without outlines. So keep it up as is.

Watching that Leopard drive right up to the top of the berm every time instead of staying hull down is frustrating stuff.
those mortars and rockets were on point all game

TT matches are either sweat sessions, or comp stacks pubbing and stomping randos.
This was just like real life. NATO troops are holed up inside fortification and the insurgents have complete freedom of movement
"Canadian City" 😂😂😂

Im so confused that insurgents are blue and canada is red!
I know, I can't get used to it either.
Palm trees, in a sandy desert, "Canadian City"... I presume it means "Canadian-held city" because only deserts we have are ice tundra deserts.
You should go back and forth on the body outline it helps to pinpoint where players are it really helps to keep up with what's going
Not sure how I feel about this layer lmao 😂

I'd say markers over outlines. Red-Green Colorblind people might have a hard time seeing the outline.
