Oh they also clip in perfectly. Granted the ones I have are for the headlights. I haven't done the high beams yet. Glowteck extreme 360 LED kit if you're interested. They are a good deal cheaper than some of the other kits too. So I was really skeptical at first but had a lot of good reviews. I've had them in for 8ish months now and no issues. They will normally send you the canbuses for free if you need them. Were out at the time so told me to buy some on Amazon and they'd reimburse me.
The play is normal with adapters. I've bought metal and plastic ones and regardless they wiggle a bit. As far as bulbs go I got some from that function red for drl (demon eye) and white for high beams. Only flaw with those is when I use the turn signal they switch color back and forth.
Thanks for another useful video. It helped me realize that I'd have to order the clips. I did. These cars have too many odd quirks. Related question...though I'm still waiting to install my high beam LEDs, I noticed that my old high beam halogens are really uneven - one side is a lot lower. They are both seated rigidly. My low beam HIDs are aligned perfectly. Is there a second gear adjustment for the high beams?. Or, is there some other way to adjust just one of the high beams up/down? Appreciate the videos again!
Hey Chayness. Got all my LEDs installed a few months ago, went with Glowteck for headlights and some randos for the fogs cause an autoparts store was closing near me and they were 75% off. Yours look really good man! Had a question for cause you're really knowledgeable. I've held off tuning cause my VT now has enough power where the wheels just spin all thru 2nd if I'm really pushing it. I've got a Megan racing upper strut bar and a turbo tech lower engine mount. I don't want to do the basic tune until I can cut down on tire spin. I was looking at control arms, but do you have any other suggestions for me? I mean other than those arms and better grip/fatter tires what can I do to cut down on the spin? Thanks for all the videos you keep posting. You've helped me a lot when I've been stuck on a project. Oh Glowteck also paid for my canbuses and have a 2 yr warranty. They aren't paying me or anything lol. I've just been really impressed with their quality.
besides the obvious "better tires" (and if you're still on stock tires, that may very well be the majority of your issue), I'd say also look into an upgraded transmission mount. That may help as well.
@@Chayness thanks man! I'm on some decent Michelins atm. My bro works at a Ford dealership so I can get a nice discount. I'll check out a trans mount. I think I'll just have to replace the stock rims and get fatter tires. Definitely enjoying the faster ride tho! I'll have to go back thru ur videos to find that carbon fiber hood cause that thing is sweet. Been looking to get one for a while but they're not cheap
@@gavingiwer855 Yea I hear you. I got my hood for a deal but if you have to buy new, if you can, i'd go with the same design but the Vis model. It's just better fitment
You probably need a PCM module so the DRL function will work. I think you should scrap this until a LED bulb comes along that fits the Veloster. The play/shakiness, electrical tape take is a thumbs down. It should be plug & play & fits just as or close to stock. I like the idea though dont get me wrong. Your car is too clean & proper for this bulb setup. In my spare time I'll help you research proper plug & play LEDs for your DRL/high beam
In the end, I actually did just that. It's the main reason why i've helt off on this for sooooo long but I wanted to at least demonstrate to those asking me about this, why I've held off for so long. Thanks for the help!

Those sound cool!
Did you paint the inside of your head light housing?
Not at all, it's stock. The amber is missing due to a vinyl "amber delete"
Have u tried hid?

I'm not quite sure. I'd have to look into it.

For low beam led, which one do you recommend for a veloster turbo 2014
I personally like brands like LASFIT and DDM Tuning
Chayness thanks bro

H7 Headlight Adapter
