Kate talks about Apollo's medical journey and Starlight Children's Foundation

In the last nine years, Kate's son Apollo has been hospitalized over 50 times for a complex and rare disease. These frequent hospitalizations can often come with added stress or anxiety, but for Apollo, Starlight Gaming eases those feelings and help him cope.
"When he first started getting into gaming in the hospital, I was nervous," Kate told us. "But I've since learned to appreciate what an incredible help it is. For [Apollo], gaming is a way to get some energy back and is something he really, deeply enjoys. It almost becomes this really big treat in the middle of something that's hard."
