I have been looking for this game for YEARS on and off and started to think I was crazy. It was never mentioned in any "obscure SNES games playlist" and nobody I knew had played it. Holy shit.
Same here, I was less than 5 years old when I played it and I have extremely fuzzy memories of playing it… the main thing I remember is the mechanical type dinosaur… feels so weird to see again.
This sequel to Joe & Mac bears little resemblance to the first game, but it's a fun little platformer in its own right, and it's one that's worth checking out.
This game, more than the other Joe and Mac games seems to be highly influenced by the Adventure Island series and Master Higgins. Can’t go wrong with that!
@@NintendoComplete Nice! BTW in regards to similarly themed games to this - thanks for suggesting Greendog to me awhile back. I tried it and I really enjoyed it. It’s a great feel-good/relaxing game like Cool Spot, Spot Goes To Hollywood, or the Toe Jam and Earl games. It also has extremely funky “Sega vibes”, which I always enjoy. Thanks again!
Played this one a couple times in the past. I've always preferred it to Joe and Mac. The difficulty may not be as challenging, but it's still a decent game. The visuals are adorable, too. I still don't understand why it's considered a sequel to the original Joe & Mac. It has nothing to do with that game. That's like if they made Castlevania, then Master of Darkness for Master System & Game Gear but they called it Castlevania 2, _then_ the *_real_* Castlevania 2 but calling Castlevania 3! It's complete and utter nonsense.

I'm glad you finally found it!

Pensaba que Joe y Mac era una copia de este juego. Jaja
I LOVE THIS GAME!
i play when i was a child lol
What beautiful colors.
best super nintendo game.
This is just a cute game! I really like this one. Ironically this is my favorite Joe and Mac game.

I had that same exact thought. They have really similar vibes. Some of the graphics in this game remind me a lot of New Adventure Island on the TG16.

@@rjcupidOh, np, I'm glad you liked it! Did you like the soundtrack? That was my favorite thing about it.
@@NintendoComplete The soundtrack is great. It’s like a mix of Cool Runnings and Toe Jam and Earl vibes.
@rjcupid That's a good way to put it. It's so mellow and islandy. That's not even a word, but whatever. Haha I think it gets the idea across.
26:32 same universe Joe & Mac
4:40 that was the funniest boss fight I've ever had the pleasure of bearing witness to!
Witness the origins of the Saiyan race.
3:30 is rather generous for the first level like 5 one-ups...
Is he a far cousin to Joe & Mac? Or his ancestor?
I'm pretty sure it's ancestor since he has a tail.
He's also on a portrait in Joe's Hut in Joe & Mac 2
Damn! Found this lost gem at last!
🔥para mí una joya de SUPER NINTENDO simplemente no fue muy comercial pero sin duda fue & seguirá siendo clásico de las plataformas 🐒💎🦖🔥

I think it's a continuation of the "Caveman Ninja" idea more than it is of Joe & Mac specifically.
You can clearly see that he is a Saiyan. He transforms into Super Saiyan and God mode at the same time.
I played this game when I was a child, it was very cool. But I never reached the final boss. (The end disappointed 😂)
Cute game but the ending could've been better
🐍 🌎 🥰
Wtf? Sound like Sonic game parodies, snes slow hardware not its true😅😅😅
I remembered all the songs before they even started.....oh man....
