Turn your garden into wildlife habitat and get it certified through the WWF! Just one idea ;)
Also, if you can, directly support farmers who practice wildlife friendly, organic practices. This can take a bit of effort and research, but a unified effort could pressure large ag to reduce chemical use on their crops by making sustainable agriculture the new standard.

WWF’s done a lot, to be fair. They gave us incredible superstars with the likes of Shawn Michaels, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Bret Hart, Yokozuna, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ken Shamrock and The Rock, just to name a few, and they gave us something to look forward to every week with Raw, Smackdown and all of their incredible highly-anticipated pay-per-views like WrestleMania, Survivor Series, King of the Ring and all of the In Your House shows that we all used to beg our parents to buy for us back in the day.
I have just now realised this is the wrong WWF. My bad, all. Enjoy the, uhhhh… pandas, or whatever. I’ll be on my way.

Undoubtedly, WWF are doing some good in the world. Interesting though that founder Peter Scott was actually pessimistic about WWF achievements in terms of number of species saved ('we haven't saved a single endangered species').

Pandas are thriving . Logo should switch to tigers. This is where focus needs to be. Existential threat so severe WWF seems to have nearly abandoned its focus to protect and ensure survival of the magnificent tiger.
What I have done in 61 years, Born 1960, my first love nature, bird watching was and still is my passion. No one told me to to do this it was instinctive, my gift was to draw and paint what I could see, and study their activities. Then I grew up, became conditioned like the rest of us, wanting this, needing that, smoking, drinking, that's my teens. Then I got a job, in what I was educated to be a product designer, (realising later I was a part of the problem) and after ten years I begun to open my eyes, seeing for the first what the human race was doing to itself. I remebered having glimpses, and telling myself this is not going to end well, and that was when I was still at school. In my late twenties I went through a religious faze looking for answers to why!
This conflict within me took a toll on my relationships in and out of many, until 80's with Bob Geldof and Midge Ure in reaction to television reports of the 1983-1985 famine in Ethiopia, is when I realised my vision was coming true. I joined all things that claimed to help protect wildlife and African people, its is the first reaction that all humans do when seeing someone or something in trouble, so we are told. 15 years passed and nothing was getting any better, my wildlife around me at home was disappearing, no Buzzards, no Lapwings, no Skylarks etc, etc, etc, and I started to rebel against those who I had support blaming them for failing me, and my love of nature. I started my own rebellion and returned to my true nature talent of painting all things we were destroying, our beaches, our rivers, forest, parks, our farmlands and our oceans. I painted surreal images created out in the field and from my PC screen taken from my camera, as a way of expressing my frustration, they didn't sell. I joined the Tree Warden scheme and with the help of our local community we planted 3,000 trees, only 1,000 remain. I painted more palatable images using the same technique I had adopted with my surreal works, I only sold a few. Why can people be so blind to what's going on, and when I exhibited them at my local library and comments I got were mixed.
Now I have nothing but fear for the entire life on Earth. Yet I still contribute to your cause, and many others, I still plant trees. knowing its all in vain, there are just too many people in the world who don't know or don't care!!! Then at 43 I got cancer and a new reality kick in as my own immortality awoke. As you can see I survived, and life changing experience, I stopped smoking, I stopped drinking in pubs, I wanted to stop driving and did for 2 years, using nothing but a push bike, those Sussex hill are hard work, with a trailer on the back with my ageing dog in it. My studies had switched from nature to human behaviour in all things polluting, its was depressing on every front, that was 2003.
Now I fined I am trying my hardest to wake people up, its almost impossible even my family are indifferent, preferring to do nothing, despite all my years of battling against all odds they still don't see it. I moved to Wales in 2014 with my new partner to get away from air pollution, have a home that runs on Solar, cars that run on Electricity, and a lifestyle where we don't fly, we recycle, reuse, repurpose what we can, and we are classed as the weird one in our close. But there is only so far you can go to unplug yourself from the destructive world, I am still called a hypocrite by hypocrites. I have a wonderful partner who helped make all this come true, but I am many miles away from my home town and my family, as is she, which is now devoid of wildlife, where only garden birds remain, and people, dogs and cats dominate, and the car rules.
I see the WWF has done about as much as I have, seeing the lose of wildlife continuing to decline year on year, but we must still try and hang on to what's left, after the mass extinction. God Bless you all, and thank you all for trying! I for one will never give up trying to adapt to a dying world!!!!
