Thanks for the boost of confidence! There is hope for my sandy soil yet! Heading up next weekend to open a new food plot and throw down buckwheat to over winter, then next year it will be rye. Thanks for all the detail in your reasoning and process for seed and timing. After your video I checked out another food plot video from another creator, not the doe factory guy😆😆, and their food plot was lush, green, huge and definitely had lots of time input to be so perfect. Your content gives us blue collar food plotters reliable, believable information on the ups and downs of food plots! OK , until the next video!

I got to say your rock/clay plot looks good, My plot I have to move rock to find the dirt! I have great success with your seed even with my bad dirt and all kinds of critters enjoy it. In the last 2 months I have seen moose, bear, deer, turkey, bobcat and a bunch or rabbits in there either feeding on last falls Fall Forage Blend or this springs buckwheat. Thanks John!

I’m a big fan of summer food plots. No chance of creating a “doe factory” here in western Massachusetts our deer numbers aren’t that high. Love watching the bucks does and fawns all out there on the soybeans and clover!!!

Should you let your clover plots go to seed before cutting?

I'm just curious, I hunt in Menomonee County, Have you seen many deer this year? My cams picked up a few doe, but no bucks. This is a first. Just wondering if you heard anything about the deer numbers this year? Thank you

So far pretty good. No cameras out yet but with the east winter, should be a good season.

@northwoodswhitetailsfoodpl2663 I hope so. Last year my food plots were barely touched compared to years past. But it was also warmer than usual most of the season.
