I've been following Ken for over thirty years. He has always been the "King of Skill Drills" in my book. The thing I love about these segments on the Wilson Combat channel is that they are always practical and relevant to real world concealed carry. Nothing is made needlessly difficult for the sake of just showing off. If you carry a gun for serious purposes, you could do a lot worse than just to practice Ken's drills.
Great drill, and thanks for having the 'stage' description up on the screen. Looks like a great diagnostic drill for new shooters, or for shooters that think they are better than they are.
Good drill. Can't help but notice Ken's shot timer, though. That thing reminds me of a 90's cell phone, it's huge....he's been using it for 30 years, lol.
Good drill for teaching newer shooters. The Wilson Glock looks good and probably works great since Mr. Wilson replaced the sights and improved the trigger. Glocks are the Toyota Corolla of pistols. They work but not overly appealing. Wilson's Beretta 92 is a lot better pistol.
Good standard for new or inexperienced shooters but these times and distances are a little too slow and too close. OK to start here, but then works towards decreasing the speed and or increasing the distance.
This video is edited. After he fires the third string, there is no impact mark in the upper right next to the base of the neck of the silhouette. But, right before he fires the fourth string, there is suddenly an impact mark in that spot. So, obviously he didn't clean the last string on the first try and they had to reshoot it. No flies on him for not being able to clean it in one try, but he should just admit that he's not perfect and post the results he got.
there was also an extra shot on the target at the beginning of the second string. I get the editing but honesty is a much better practice. Ive noticed a few "editing bloopers" on several of these videos.
I know Ken is Semi-Retired, but it's nice to see @wilsoncombat bringing him out to share his knowledge and wisdom. Good stuff! Keep them coming!

Thank youKen
Ken sent me, I met him this weekend at the 2nd Annual Lehmi County Big Bore Revolver shoot. I had not seen your youtube site before
I really appreciate the content.
Great drill! Thanks.
You bet!
There's a lot of good info right there.

Randy
Something new to practice next week.

Any information on that please 🙏

Great vid, sir!
I'm gonna give this a try when I head out to shoot next time.
What A Guy!

Many handguns are superior to the Glock but it does work (usually) even if it harder to get high-stress hits.
Sweet 👍
Glock the world standard for ballistic PEZ dispensers, maybe....with all due respect to one of my favorite luminaries.
Hello, thanks for the useful drills. Can I ask "revolver passing scores", when you think they are different from the pistol ones?
What kind of hearing protection are you using? I like the cut on the right for rifles! Thank you!
What was bleeped out at 0:59 ? Any guesses?
yes I have a guess.
Haven’t got a F#%kin clue
He said "not like a ret@rd with a wood-burning set went to work on it." I chuckled heartily!
Ken what holster are you running in this video?
Good standard for new or inexperienced shooters but these times and distances are a little too slow and too close. OK to start here, but then works towards decreasing the speed and or increasing the distance.
whats that computer you got on that left pocket making the beeping sounds? hehe great job sir, and awesome drill.
A bit late to the party but they are called shot timers. :)
What's the distance
7 yards
THis drill was for competition shooting? Again...noticing Ken was standing square facing the target...

the crappy Glock commercial ends at 01:59 & the very cool drills begin
I'm surprised it is not draw and fire 3 rounds in 3 seconds with A zone hits. These times and round counts do seem slow.
Throw away that gun plastic
You did not pass this one Ken.
Let's face it glock is the world standard - What?? Really - world standard nothing!! It's a lame plastic pistol!
Sorry but your lost me at Glock...
I'm sure you'll figure it out one day when you get all grown up...
