I love your videos. One suggestion - show the finished product first, then continue as you have. I, and I'm sure many others skip to the end to see what you're making and then decide whether or to continue watching.
Nice design. When you were filling it with screws, I noticed that separate lids for the compartments could prevent mixing different screws in neighboring compartments.
New subscriber here. I just discovered your chanel and appreciate your no nonsense designs. Too many woodworking channels now emphasize using CNC which is out of the reach of the majority of people.
Good work, good idea, nicely made. Maybe it would be interesting to have some labels in front of the feeder with the size of the screws, so that you don't have to think about what size each one is. Is just a thought of mine.
Checking what screws I use the most so I can build appropriate size. I do like the suggestions others have made: 1) plexiglass to see inventory 2) storage area for boxes of screws. My shop has 2 wall cabinets, so I don’t need #2, but I really like that idea
Very nice. Excellent work. A couple of ideas. Taper the top edges of the fill chutes like a funnel. Another shelf underneath for holding a full box for each bin. When the box goes in the bin it is time to restock. Thank you for all the hard work and inspiring projects. I just realized it is the 1st day of summer for you. Enjoy your summer. Merry Christmas from Texas. Where it is forecast to be 80 degrees F on Christmas day.
i would add a clear lid at the front of each tray to prevent screws mixing with the next open area and also prevent saw dust from getting into it if its sitting on the work bench while doing your projects
Great project. I image this one looks great if painted. I love that you keep your branding on screen. If I take a screenshot to put this away as a reminder I don’t have to worry about who or what UA-cam channel made it. So many times I take a shot to remember something and I spend time hunting for details with nothing more than, he had a green bandsaw in the background.
Looks like a project to present your's sponsors products ;-) No doubt, Stabila, Bessey and Fischer are top notch german craftman's products. And are common stuff here in good old Germany. But I really like most that you'll now use metric screws. And you explained the thickness of plywood in millimeters. So there is now little hope that America some day will use the metric system.
11:54 Would adding a smaller triangle block to the front inside instead of the vertical filler pieces (similar to the back angle blocks), make it easier to grab and slide out screws when the inventory is low?
Thanks for your design, I will be putting some of your things in my shop, I have a small shop your ideas have help me a lot. Can’t wait for next year 👍
1. I'll buy the plan when available. 2. I'll eliminate 80%of the back spacers & 100% off the front spacers as the 1/4 (6mm) ply dividers can't deflect that much to cause trouble & 3. I won't glue in the dividers & I'll screw on the upper front in case I decide I need a double wide bin some day & that makes dividers removable. Nice design. I like the 45° kicker at the base to push the screws forward
También se puede adaptar para almacenar latas de conservas en la alacena, haciendo mas alto el depósito vertical... It can also be adapted to store canned goods in the cupboard, making the vertical tank higher...
A good addition to that would be a small slat that you can hang inside one side of the entry so that you can fill it without the screws going into the compartment next to it....the slat can then be taken out and placed underneath the lid, tucked away.
Another nice addition to the shop there Jean. Thanks for all the videos over the last loooong months, they've helped with the pandemic boredom immensely. Merry Christmas to you and your family and here's to a much, much better 2022 for us all.
Great idea! I’m making this with two minor changes, I will angle the floor down to let gravity move the screws to the front, making the angled block unnecessary and creating more volume. The front cover will be plexiglass so I can see my stock of screws and get more if needed.
Love your ingenuity and creativity!! If you added curved inserts to the lid it might act as a good funnel when loading screws. Also a magnet to extract the screws so you don’t have to dig in. 💪🏼💪🏼
Smart move adding the wedges in the back… they not only help the fasteners flow out better, gluing them in structurally reinforces the bottom and back so the weight of the fasteners does not pull apart the construction of the box.
Be a good idea to put the box labels under the lid or on the face for easy identification to others and alert you to what you are running low on. Run short take the label with you to the store. No need to think about what it is or remember with the label in your pocket
Great to see another well thought out project. Love your ideas. Congrats on securing that UPak sponsorship. Really looking forward to your Workbench Mark II project. All the best to you and your family for the festive season.
Beautiful work, Jean! Nicely done! 😃 I need to start making projects for my shop as well, but I don't know yet where to start! 😂 Anyway, happy holidays! And stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Nice project. I love how it's obvious you have thought it through carefully. I love that you can use simple tools to make it. No routers or dadoes! Thanks again, and have wonderful holidays!
Looks great. I love it, and this kind of project. I would make one change though. Add a hinged clear plastic lid for the access, so it doesn’t fill up with sawdust.
excellent idea the only thing I would do differently is: make every compartment spacy enough to allow 1.1 box of screws, so that whenever my screws stock is at 10%, I can dump the whole new box at once, otherwise you need to store half full boxes elsewhere which defeats the purpose.
Howzit Jean. Been wondering what you were up to. Probably finishing work before the year end holidays( Cape Town style mos). Those bins look awesome. Enjoy the break and stay safe. Klippies and coke for the next few weeks
Really looking forward to that version 2 of the all-in-one! The all-in-one workbench is something I am seriously thinking about making for my workshop. I bet that after a few years of working on it, you will have some great new ideas on how to make it even better.
They are nice. I got mine from Upat. They are the official Fischer distributor in SA. You can contact them to find out where else to buy. www.upat.co.za/
Nice project buddy I have something similar but I also labelled mine with the screw sizes. Just one question why did you drill the end L shapes rather than just let the two jigsaw cuts meet up? Love watching your videos mate and hope you and your family have a great Xmas and new year 👍🏻
When I designed the project I was going to use a router to make the caps and dividers. To do this I was going to make one cap and use it as a template to trace the others using a flush trim bit. I figured that it would work better to have a rounded corner when tracing with the router. By the time I finished the caps I decided to use the jigsaw technique for all the components so I didn't drill the dividers.
I am clearly not using enough screws to justify a build like this. Enjoyed watching the video anyway 😊 But if I would build this I would simplify it a lot and use a lot less wood. Instead of the back-board use the french cleat-strip as the back. That board isn't needed for strength. The only real reason for that boards is to hold the smaller pieces together which forms the grooves. A small wood strip (like the French cleat) would be plenty enough for that job. Or another option to simplify the build would be to not use the grooves at all. Just build a box and glue the dividers in. I guess you could build the same thing with half the wood and in half the time.
Soos gewoonlik 'n goeie insiggewende video.
I love your videos. One suggestion - show the finished product first, then continue as you have. I, and I'm sure many others skip to the end to see what you're making and then decide whether or to continue watching.
I have watched your videos for many hours tonight and have enjoyed every second. Thank you
Very nice! I think I'll copy it. 🇨🇦
I just built one, last night. I wish I had seen this, first, then I wouldn't have to rewind, and revise. 😂
Nice design. When you were filling it with screws, I noticed that separate lids for the compartments could prevent mixing different screws in neighboring compartments.

You should stick the labels from the screw boxes on the organizer, to know which section has which screws.
I have seen all your videos, full of creativity and good work, thank you for sharing your wisdom through your channel, like.
I really appreciate how you kept the design simple using the layering technique. Top job! Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺
Good work, good idea, nicely made. Maybe it would be interesting to have some labels in front of the feeder with the size of the screws, so that you don't have to think about what size each one is. Is just a thought of mine.
It is a clever holder for screws. Only a genius like this channel can do that. Thank you kind Sir. I will try to build one. it's neat.
Checking what screws I use the most so I can build appropriate size. I do like the suggestions others have made:
1) plexiglass to see inventory

Makes my day to see your videos! Merry Christmas!
That's interesting. I like it. One of the better ideas I've seen recently.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!!
Nice design and execution. Just as important, a great video - well scripted, well paced, well edited. Thanks very much!
Nice work champ. You should join the great migration of SAFFAS to here in New Zealand.
In a single car garage myself, your videos are a huge help when brainstorming my own use of space!
That miter saw storage is crazy do you have a video on that?
Great design. Have a nice Christmas.
Have a gentle Christmas and a massively awesome 2022!
Looks like a project to present your's sponsors products ;-)

Did I miss a lot of episodes despite being subscribed!? A lot has changed it seems, Jean. The workshop looks great!
Well done! Enjoy the holidays, you're more than earned it!
Merry Christmas to you too🎄🍾👍🏻
11:54 Would adding a smaller triangle block to the front inside instead of the vertical filler pieces (similar to the back angle blocks), make it easier to grab and slide out screws when the inventory is low?
Great idea, I think I would do that as well.
Reminds me of a pick and mix storage tray 🤔. As always Jean 💯% 👍 🇬🇧

Great project and video - thanks! You mentioned a bandsaw - have you seen Matthias Wandel's homemade bandsaw videos?
A good addition to that would be a small slat that you can hang inside one side of the entry so that you can fill it without the screws going into the compartment next to it....the slat can then be taken out and placed underneath the lid, tucked away.
it would be nice to give measurements and the angle of each cut I just started wood working it helps me
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!
Really nice idea , will use idea when i get my shop built.❤
Looks good and functional. Happy Holidays!
lovely execution of a handy addition to the shop
Happy Holidays!
See you next year

Fantastic! I will be building this!!
Another handy project. Keep up the great work in the new year!
Great project. Merry Christmas to you and yours. God's Blessings in 2022
Merry Christmas and a happy new year from Norway by Koos
A nice plastic funnel will simplify your loading even more.
Smart move adding the wedges in the back… they not only help the fasteners flow out better, gluing them in structurally reinforces the bottom and back so the weight of the fasteners does not pull apart the construction of the box.
Hey man, great job, that's really amazing.
But can I ask you the measurements of this project?
Merry Christmas
Nice build. I need one of these. I'll get the plans from your site. Thanks for the great video. Have a safe and wonderful holiday season.

You’re my new favorite woodworking/DIY hobbiest. I myself am just now starting out and you’re a huge inspiration. Thank you for content
Awesome idea. Nice design
Great Stuff, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours from us in Canada, Cheers.
I think a cover over the screws to prevent dusst would be a gppd idea, clear plastic possibly.
C'est super super travail vous auriez un plan merci j'aimerais faire le même👍👍
That's a really good idea
Great video as usual. Thanks a lot for using imperial as well as metric sizes.
Nice design
excellent idea

Wow - built to last forever...
This is a good idea well brought across.
Happy new year and the best for your channel.
Nice project Jean, Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Very nice design. And great job with the video. I subscribed and look forward to more videos.

Cool solution, but you'd better use torx-screws 🙂

Great little project! Thanks for the good ideas :)
Nice video where can I find the video? I would like to build one myself
Can I download the plans to this screw feeder please??
Another great project as usual... goeie werk bra!
what happens when you shake it?
What about the batteries for the tools they need to be nearby and charged. Well that's the next step a charging station hanger.
Can you make your own bandsaw? :)
Another great idea!
Great project!
Where can i get the plans for this??
Great idea! Thanks!
Superb.
Das ist Perfektionismus. Super!!!!
where do you get plywood in SA for cheap
That box is almost bombprof....
Please supply a link to where to buy Fisher screw here in Cape Town. Sure it will be better quality that the crap in Mica or Builders
