Papa Pleeb I personally dislike the artstyle, but it's not that bad IMO. If the sprites didn't move, that'd be better. The animation of some of the enemies look pretty bad
To everyone criticizing his poison math: he is right Poison is a counter that is increased by the amount on the card and decreases by *1* each turn. Therefore, if he were to afflict 8 poison in 2 cards: 8 + 7 = 15 + 6 = 21 + 5 = 26 + 4 = 30 + 3 = 33 + 2 = 35 + 1 = 36 He is right on this one, but he still doesn't know what pop-up tools telling the player about a card's effects means or about Guild of Dungeoneering
I'm so happy he found this game through Sleepcycles. Been a fan of him for awhile, and have been loving watching his runs in this game. So glad to see the egg playing it. Better see a, "let's play," of this.
A series on this once its out fully would be great! Love the strategy behind it and I can see a whole bunch of different builds around different cards within the game. Lots of fun to watch, hope to see more of it!

When they released this, I thought: "I have to do something to get Northernlion to play this." But yeah. Holy shit. I'm so glad you're playing it; you're helping someone's actual dreams come true.
maybe they should add some sort of 'are you sure you want to end your turn' thing when you still have mana, because loads of times NL either forgot that one of his cards cost 0 energy, or forgot that he gained an extra energy at the end of the turn

Just a little tip,it might have been worth it to get the 175 gold and become cursed because soon after there was a merchant,and you could have paid him a bit to remove that curse,and get profit out of the situation
I surprisingly beat the entire dungeon on my 1st run. Love the game mechanically. Wish there were more floors to explore. The 2nd character seems a bit more difficult. Looking forward to doing a full block poison build on him soon.

Looks a lot like Monster Slayers, which is not a bad thing. Too bad it's in early access. Gonna keep an eye on it though. Thanks for making me aware of this game's existence.
So I understand an overall disdain towards early access, but don't understand "too bad it's in early access" for games that are already enjoyable/playable and in early access.
I don't really dislike early access in general, but with so many games to play I made the decision not to buy a game until it's fully out. Unfortunately that means that sometimes I see interesting games months before I get to play them. And I know that's kinda silly in a way.

I legit bought this within 2 minutes of watching the NLSS vod the other day and I'm hooked.
This looks like a more visually impressive Dream Quest, which is a pretty big improvement if you have ever played Dream Quest.
This could be a good series.

2024 here. He's playing slay the spire again and has over a million subs.

Get 175 gold from serpent, use 75 of them to remove the curse card at a shop - free 100 gold. just for future thought. Would love a NL series on this.

If you do make this a series, and please do, retain cards always, with the exception of cards that hurt you to retain. More options = more power
