Here are 5 of my favorite Big Ideas from "How Champion's Think" by Bob Rotella. Hope you enjoy!
Dr. Bob Rotella is widely recognized as the world’s leading sports psychologist. He’s coached everyone from basketball stars like LeBron James to rock stars like Seal. The golfers he’s coached (including greats like Rory McIlroy) have won an astonishing 80+ major championships. Want to know how champions think in both sports AND life? Well, here you go. Big Ideas we explore include the importance of going for "exceptionalism" (by definition, to be reat/a champion you need to be an "exception" to the norm so...), a message from God (key takeaway: focus on the process, results are all good), train it and trust it, enthusiasm (it's the catalyst of champions), how to create your own reality (hint: don't do what average people do), and how to win the ultimate game of life.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for your kind words!! I'd say it's a combo of continuing to fine-tune the nutrition (currently experimenting with low-carb/high healthy fat/moderate protein with a TON of greens/etc.) plus stepping up the Spartan training. I'm doing more aerobic trail running, still doing the 110 burpees a day and a LOT more grip work/pull-ups/etc. LET'S DO THIS!!!!

I have worked in silicon valley. I have worked on Wall Street. I have read the biographies of Rockefeller, JPMorgan, Vanderbilt, and Andrew Carnegie. I will tell you in one small paragraph how champions think. They do not have an off switch. The difference between those that achieve greatness in the rest of us. Is that the champions of industry, of sports, do not have an off switch. How many practice shots did Kobe Bryant take every day? Thousands. Just an example.

What if what I want is something subjective-based? The ultimate version of myself would win Grammy’s for my songs...but it seems so gray to define it as a goal.

usually love ur work, really dont like this one. I stopped at 14:29, too much for me. All I got is work hard, next tip is work harder, next is do it again. No big philosophy there. Again - normally love ur work, thanks and keep it up !

I treat these as reminders more so as new knowledge. That's all I gotta focus on is putting in the effort over a long period of time. 2 years in and it's still going!
