i had 10 times more facial hair than you and more thick & dark. started electrolysis almost a year ago and my problem is almost solved. life changing :')
Aww really I'm so happy for you! Electrolysis is amazing! The hair on my chin use to be very dark and thick - it was electrolysis which improved it before I started practising laser. I am trying to decide whether I should finish off with electrolysis - thank you for sharing it helps with my decision :)
I swear her voice made me feel so at ease! LOL...I learned something and I could listen to her over and over! Thanks for the information doll! I am so tired of this hair on my lip. Va-jay-jay! Too funny! Tortured for information! Too funny!
I have been epilating my face, 3 days a week, for the past month. Then shave & let it rest. My face should be hair free in the next week or two. Granted, It's painful, but very effective. About 95% of the hair is gone at this point.
I had both electrolysis and laser hair for my face. I am able to grow hair on the sides of my face, the chin, and neck. I have to shave every day and I hate it. Nothing has worked for me bc of my PCOS. It didn't go away and come back, it just never worked. I've been on BC for 8 years now as well as Metformin. The only thing I have left to try is Vaniqa, but my insurance won't cover it and it's way too expensive. I hate my skin bc of my PCOS.
Thanks for this video! For information, I use the Braun Silk Epil at home (it's an IPL like the Philips showed) and on some areas like my arms it did an AMAZING job. It's not permanent but the hair is a lot thiner and grows back very slowly in comparison with before. It's not really working on every area though, at least for me. But it's definitely a big help!
Girl you are so beautiful and I love your experience video it makes sense and I can relate. I am going for my first electrolysis treatment in 2 days and I am aware I will need to keep going it's just the money that may be the issue for me
Stay Bless Thank you! Yep you will have to go regularly at first and it can take up to 2 years for some people. Ahh I know I’ve spent so much on hair removal it’s ridiculous 😅
I Regret not taking my birth control pills that helps reduce my hair growth including my mustache. My hair on my chin is Getting Worse😢. U gave me a Great pep talk to take care of it.thank u💗💗💗💗💗

Gökçe Yılmaz Hi! I have a little bit of hair on my stomach. I lasered the hair under my belly button a few times and it has improved. It wasn’t included in my package so I will need to pay extra to get it done
can you write down which type of laser works for you, i know you mentioned it but would love to have the spelling. I have PCOS and tried laser but it comes back.
Mine are pure black and as much in number as on an infant's head! I have to wax/epilator or thread twice a week. Still can't enjoy fully hair free time
I have so dark n thick hair on my face (chin, jawline sideburns) I have PCOS.. I can't afford laser or electrolysis rn as I'm still a 20 year old student..... So anybody who has facial hair like me can suggest me some method apart from th these two?
I have to agree with you on laser.. Which I like better! I just did a session with electrolysis and my face is broken out!!😪😪 When i do laser this doesn't happen! And I'm now seeing a lot of ingrown hairs😪😪😪
Do you get irregular periods as well as excess hair? Or is the excess hair the only symptom and how did you find out you had pcos, what tests did they have to do?
Can you tell me please that the hormonal imbalance after all your sittings are done would effect your hair growth?? Like can they grow again ??? If you suffer imbalance again or not
FļüFf ŰpP If you are diagnosed with a hormone imbalance then hairs can grow back. Apparently it’s not necessarily from the hair follicle treated previously but from new hair follicles
@@melisatesbel okay thanks alot i have pcos and not the imbalance but may be because of pcos that's why i was wondering thanks alot for replying 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Great videos ! Me and my sister are in the same situation (PCOS and hirsutism ) But I still do not know which one to choose : electrolysis or laser ? ;//// Plz help Cannot wait from more videos ! xx
It's hard to say which one would be better as everyones body is different. If you go for electrolysis remember that you shouldn't feel the hair pluck during the process - this means they're not doing it correctly. Keep in mind that electrolysis does one hair at a time - so if you have a lot of hair it will take longer. Laser covers a large area so it's faster but you need to make sure you choose a good type of laser for your skin type. You can find places that do free consultations - see what they recommend for you and then you can make your decision. I wish the best of luck to both of you! x
I would say electrolysis is more successful and is the only permanent one in comparison to laser hair removal. Well, this is the conclusion I've come to after MUCH research. I also suffer from hisutism. Laser hair removal tackles the pigment in the hair but electrolysis kills the hair at the root.
I’ve had electrolysis on upper lip and it’s def helped - I am starting laser tho cause it’s not as painful and there’s no way I can get the middle hairs with electrolysis - way too painful and harsh on skin
cxjjdjd chxjnxx Yes you can for body hair but keep in mind that you may need more sessions than usual because of our hormones. For facial hair I will recommend electrolysis 😊
Thanks for the info. I’ve been wondering if laser hair removal was permanent and it’s good to know it can be temporary I’m sure I would miss my hair sometimes if I did it and it was permanent.
Thanks for this video :) Is their any places in the uk that you recommend? I'm transgender and I have to shave everyday and I really want all my facial hair G O N E lol
Hi there, if you click on the SHR link that I put in the description box, you can have a look to see if there are any locations near you that provide the same laser machine. I haven't tried any other places so I can't recommend anywhere else because I'm not 100% sure. Definitely look into electrolysis too as this is considered a more permanent treatment! I can't say where I had electrolysis from yet - I haven't asked the lady yet. You can have a look on Treatwell and check the reviews for places that provide electrolysis! I wish you the best of luck finding a suitable place for you!
Hello! I like your video. Very imformative. I also have a hormonal disorder. Thyroid disease. Not the same as yours but mine also causes excessive hair growth on the face. I have been battling this hair growth for over 8 years now. Not fun. Anyway I started electrolysis just a few months ago in the beginning of June. I have lots of mixed feelings on the results I'm getting. After some appointments I feel like it's improving but others not so much. I have extremely fair and sensitive skin. I was never able to wax or use hair removal cream. I was always afraid to get laser cause I didn't want to shave my face. How long do you think it will take to have good results from electrolysis? Do you think I should try laser as well? Like combine both therapies.
Stacie Harris Hi thank you for sharing! I wouldn’t recommend you mix both. Carry on with electrolysis for at least a year. Don’t worry you will notice results before that but don’t give up on it!
It's very important that the electroligist is very skilled and uses the correct method for the type of hair treated. I've been to lots of people who were kind as could be and claimed to be professionals but had no kill. They have to have more than just the knowledge and know how. They have to be truly skilled. Finding someone like this could be a challenge.
@@melisatesbel Bad advice. Yes she may need to give up on this person. Not electrolysis but finding a new one could make all the difference. The first person I went to caused Major pain and no real results. Next lady I went to was less painful and had real results.
I wouldn't recommend it for the face but for the body it was alright. I did it 6 times on my chin and it seemed like it was working well until I stopped. It all grew back and may have made it worse. The hair on my body was growing back very very slow which was good but it's like it just puts the hair to sleep. You need to do it all the time to maintain it.
