- Ok so heres my non biased review on the fortune auto 500 series coilovers with the Swift spring upgrade ( 16k f 12k r ) hope you enjoy it my pros and cons are
pros
-great ride quality
-lots of options
-communication was good in the aspect of if I had a question they got back to me in a timely fashion although there was many delays atleast I wasnt sitting not knowing what was going on
-being a driver at spirit drift series they offer a good sponsor ship
cons
-priced a little higher then most
-long wait times
-doesnt go super low (stance guys buy broadway static made by the same people)
also these are suposed to be the gen 7 coilovers im unsure why they are not silver like they are in pictures i guess i need to do some digging in that compartment stay tuned to my reviews and how i correct the issues that i have with these coilovers
I've had the DSG Limited Edition 500 set on my Evo X MR for almost 2 years now, running 9k/9k, I daily and track and these never fail to impress.
Yea they are definitely well built
Glad to hear that the swift springs aren't too harsh, ordered a set of 500's with 14k front and 10k rear and the Swift's for my 96 Accord. Going from Bags to coils that was definitely something I was concerned with but I'm just tired of the sloppy handling with the bags. Can't wait to get mine and see how it drives.

itsBMD I have a '96 Accord that I am shopping coilovers for now. How have you looked the FA 500's and springs?
@@DanRoBurton They're great, I ordered the 14k front and 10k rear swift springs with my 500s but when I got them they had the regular 12k front and 6k rear spring rate swifts. I'm glad though as I love how they ride, very comfortable when cruising and stiff when taking corners. I also recommend ST Suspension sway bars if you're looking for better handling, they made the most noticeable difference with removing body roll.
Thanks for this review! I was settling on BC's until I heard of Fortune Autos but they really don't have much ride height adjustability which is a big downside.

Broadway static is the way to go if you wanna be low 326 is of course the jdm god haha I have lots of friends with there springs but I wanna see there full coilover
shift_coupe yeah, I’ve worked with 326. Was first one carrying them over here but I’m just curious on fortune auto is because it’s one of the coilovers I’ve never had and so curious. 326 is definitely a great ride though.

I’m really thinking of buying these coil overs. I know swift springs are quality but what is the advantage of upgrading to those springs?
They use their own material and they usually have less coils so it's lighter They feel softer even at a higher Spring rate than a standard Spring and the react to the road changes fast thus making a smoother ride ..... the swift spring upgrade is a must

Not much. They’re both good, accurate springs. Swift’s are apparently slightly lighter weight.

@@shiftcoupeyeah it sucks because they usually build the coilovers with 7" springs I believe to got lower you'll need shorter swift springs. I'm currently on a 6inch springs all the way around
@@trebooogie9492 I actually need a shorter shock and Spring for my springs I voice the fact that I wanted swift Springs and to be able to ride extremely low even though it's a track car And I get something that's literally 1' taller than my last set up :(
