Thanks for complimenting the spider, I'm the one who painted it (with help from other locals) I have a time-lapse on my channel of it being painted 🙌 Glad you enjoyed LIVI, were all super proud of the park
@@BondedbyBoards it originally had a cut out door where the full-pipe roll in is but it was filled up because it was way too dangerous. If you had dropped in from the very ramp, into the doorway to the full prior, you'd have just flew into the other side and "ended in the shadow realm" as he likes to say 🤣
I don't know how some of those parks get built, maybe communities coming together to provide a spot without guidance. I thought about visiting Livingstone Skatepark since the mid ninetie's, i'd only seen pictures of the place and heard stories. I will head down from Aberdeen for sure. Great content mate, thanks!
Back in 1989 there were only Livingston and Anniesland Old Church Skate Parks in Scotland . We would watch Animal Chin and then go do some thrashing every weekend at those parks , we built our own ramps and came home from school to find the council had taken them away. Want to get back on the board again at the age of 48 :)
You’ve inspired me to really start making content I really enjoy the way you communicate and if you could give me any advice at all that would be awesome keep doing what your doing I really enjoy the videos!
It was hard to fit in lots of other locations all in one day. Give the behind the scenes filming a watch ua-cam.com/video/RpsXsv0eQXw/v-deo.htmlsi=3oAD2WLYsh28ltoY
@ 06:42 this one actually looks alright to me, the bowl looks fine. To be honest, I would love to have that bowl near my house. I wouldn't mind to maintain it (clean it up and make small fixes with concrete and bondo). The place is just abandoned. Probably that area just lacks skateboarding community.
Where’s the Buckfast 😂😂 Ken it’s made in England but it’s more or less our other national drink. Dundee used to have an epic locals park at the top of hawk hill. ❤
Interesting you went to Saline. I moved within 10 miles of it a few years ago and passed by it for the first time only a few weeks ago and thought "this has got to be the worst skatepark in Scotland, and I bet nobody's even heard of it!" Well turns out it isn't the worst, and now everybody's heard of it 😂
Honestly, I think that third one could be salvaged into a decent skatepark. Yes, it would need a complete resurfacing, but it has space. Resurface, add some ramps, and other features, and it could be reborn.
Hey man you should check out Shaw Street Skatepark, Culcheth. I did a little vid on it but would be awesome to see your thoughts on it, also some quality parks in the area including Birchwood and Orford (outdoor) and Ramp1 (indoor). Happy to show you around!
@Danwebz alr hang on im going there rn. Edit: filmed the stuff gotta edit will prob be there in 1-3 days depending on how much school wil screw me over so yeah. Ty for inspiring me to keep skating!
Let me guess. Skating is banned in the town. Someone in the city council had a cousin in the concrete business that needed some work and absolutely hated skating. The park was completed in 2 hours with a crew of 2 soccer hooligans after a major multi-day bender at the local pub..........
You need to come to the Louisville, KY skatepark. We have a full pipe. And it's an all around pretty good skatepark, whether skating transition, street or both. It's completely concrete aside from the half pipe. Though everything has coping and theres a few rails. And of course, no park is complete without everyones favorite: 🫴✨️scooter kids✨️. Last I saw it, it was still in great shape. Every part completely skateable.
It was pleasure giving you a tour of some of best and worst parks in Central Scotland. 🏴
You missed a few places good and bad
@Automaticricky1
Which ones did I miss?
Thanks again man! Much love and can’t wait to come back next time
@@BondedbyBoardsThe recs, queens park Glasgow, Kelvin Grove, helinsburgh to name a few

Livi is the best.
I had to get livi on the trip for Webz..
I have a behind the scenes
ua-cam.com/video/RpsXsv0eQXw/v-deo.htmlsi=3oAD2WLYsh28ltoY
that park with the square nipple is like:
"hit the downbar"
"I don't want to"
"hit the downbar"
"okay"
I honestly think DIY skateparks are so sick
Me too
Love the tag on the quarter pipe “fuck the streets” 🤣
Check Out - DIY Oberwerth
This is our DIY park, "club grounds" and no scooters or anything else allowed 😂 with music system and WiFi gahahah
Saw Tony Hawk McTwist in the big bowl livingston 1989, possibly 88 as I'm 51 now an the grey matters getting foggy.
Long live Livi!
The full-pipe isn't built to dimensions that allow it to be done, it was built for show, not for use.
When Webz asked me. I didn't know that.

Been loving these skatepark review videos, perfect to watch when eating haha
The avant-garde conception of building the skate stoopers 1st,then the park around the ol bugger. Och'aye
That grass run/fall was brilliant! and Livingston looks amazing! Hawk wasn't the only one to skate there, most of the Bones Brigade have too.

The Arches skatepark reminds me so much of a skatepark I used to skate back in the day called Al Town in Memphis, TN. Shits sick

+1 for title referencing that one hit wonder song by those Scottish men who can walk five hundred miles and would walk five hundred more.

Two of the obstacles at Crowlin, the spine and the down bar, are exact replicas of ones that were at the bowls in Stirling
