Great video! My hair is a little shorter than yours (especially in the back). Would I still need to use the same size brush or go a little smaller? Is there a trick to determining the best brush size to use for smoothing based on hair length?
You could go a little smaller. They have a 400 size that I use when my hair is more lob/bob length. Typically the longer the hair the bigger the brush. If I want more bend in my face frame I will go down a size to swoop it more.
@@SummerBeautyc I just had to follow up. Got a slightly smaller brush and I can't believe the difference it made! I also took your advice on the order to apply products. My hair looks fabulous! I was able to achieve the exact look I have been trying to get for awhile. Thanks again!
This is the hairstyle I'm constantly trying to achieve, thank you for your tips! I ordered the 3.5" Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Thermal round brush a couple days ago. I'm curious why you prefer the Cricket over the Olivia Garden round brushes?
I have wanted a Voloom since I first started seeing you talk about it! I think I’m about to take that plunge! 😅❤ I need to get that Amika Shield as I live in Texas…😮 ❤ thanks for a great video Summer! You are super creative with your editing skills! 🤓

Thanks so much for making your videos educational and entertaining! I'm sure there's a best over-acting award in there somewhere. :)
🤣😂
My dream come true - volume AND a smooth finish. The best of both worlds! ❤
It really is a nice look! And so easy to retouch in the morning if need be.
Beautiful shine and style
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Excellent! Such great tips and tutorial. Love the humor in your videos!
So glad you like them! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Means the world ♥️
Love this type video and your Ridgeback 😅
Yay I'm glad you noticed Brutus! I always get sad if I don't get at least one comment mentioning his cuteness 🤣
I always wanted one. And he's beautiful!!
Hi, great video, as always ❤ Please tell me if you have a substitute or a device similar to Tymo Volumizer because it is not available in Poland 😢
The Revlon One Step is super similar if you can purchase that.
Thank you so much❤ Revlon is available in Poland 😍

Oh I am so happy to hear that! The little things can make the biggest difference!

Also, what temperature do you use on your Voloom?
I like Olivia Garden as well, they are a great brand. As a stylist in salon I always liked the way the cricket felt in my hand as far as grip though.
Typically anywhere between 305-325
Hi Summer, great video
Are you using the narrowest voloom?
I have hair identical to yours (fine, straight, and same haircut/length)
Yes it's the smallest size they have! It's 3/4th of an inch and I also have the other two sizes lol I'm quite obsessed

It's so good! I can't live without as well as the Amika spray!
It was such a nice surprise to see that you posted a video. I enjoyed it very much! I incorporate your tips religiously 😁.
@@oelfahrautenbach thanks for always watching!
What smooth styling product do you recommend? Do you use a blow dry or no?
what about the roots with a blow out brush
You can rough dry your hair a bit first before using the blowout brush!
Oh, so two drying tools??
Yes. You can let your hair air dry some but trying to blow dry super wet hair with blowout brush will take forever.
