    Bending down isn't necessarily the best way to handle high speed cuz your center of grafity is less controlled due to your legs being bent and not able to make micronadjustments as easily

      uh, you don't want to lock your knees. it looks like he got wobble because he was too far in the backseat. imagine doing 36 on a forklift, that would be sketchy. when all of your weight is on the back going fast as hell, your turning with your rear wheels. Couple that with most setting up their front truck looser than the rear and that's what happens.

    • @turbotrainer1
      @turbotrainer1 Рік тому +4

      yeah most def and u want at least 70% of your weight all into the front leaving the rear trucks straight as possible. i normally bring my front foot forward a bit on high speed runs just to keep weight off the back. any micro movement in the rear trucks at those speeds no fun . either way its never easy staying perfectly balanced at those speeds with looser bushings. tighter the trucks easier it gets to just cruise at those speeds. my board never feels tight enough unless i sacrifice all my turning radius lol i cap it at 30 mph on 105m street wheels. we need better designed trucks for these speeds.

    I felt the same a few times. When you hit the speed limit, it feels like one motor can no longer spin faster, and the second is gaining momentum a little more, and the suspension itself starts to turn due to different wheel speeds. And it shakes you straight, at the moment you throw the gas and catch the board. (sorry Google translate)

    I was going 30 mph down this steep road right next to campus, I had car behind me too. So I just bombed the hill on full throttle. I started getting wobbles really bad and somehow managed to slow down to a point where I regained control. If I had fucked up even a little bit, I prolly would’ve gotten run over.

  • @BN99239

    Yeah, so getting super low like that is mostly for style points, it doesn't help with distributing your weight. That's because getting super low takes away your ability to fine tune your balance. Yes, bending your knees and squatting a bit is helpful, but over exaggerating it isn't easy to maintain control.

U get the wobble when u not ready for the decrease in speed after the acceleration with those four sexy motors

  • @sergevzqz6438

    Start leening in front when doing your tests. Do not take a neutral stand where you put your weight in the center. That will send you flying. Even riding at 30 or 25 put most of your weight on your front foot. I would advise do it at all times riding even slow just to get used to it.

    • @JackHasWifi
      @JackHasWifi  Рік тому +1

      Gear drive I’d honestly currently maybe advise against, as it’s very limiting in what pulleys (and wheels) you can use with it. It gives way more torque, so it’d be perfect for off roading and possibly racing. Exways gear drive currently only supports its pneumatics. Belt on the other hand supports pretty much any pulley and any wheel

      Belts aren’t very prone to breaking. I’m actually yet to break one myself, Altho a friend of mine snapped his cause rocks kept getting caught inside it. Most boards have belt covers and less exposed entry points so this should be quite rare. But having at least a couple backups won’t hurt. You can get them pretty cheap and reliably from Vbeltguys. I wouldn’t say these are all terrain just cause they’re pneumatic. Exway sells actual all terrain wheels. These are more of general purpose wheels

      @@JackHasWifi no, they are All Terrain. Street wheels don't have air. Be honest, don't lie about your WiFi password.
