Yes please discuss if the citizens will treat us well, we can see art and culture anywhere. Most of the places are not friendly or welcoming. Especially brazil, Italy, and Australia
Love this! I first learned about Barbados through my favorite department’s store Spring/Summer 1996 catalog. Later, my mom subscribed to The Caribbean travel magazine and I learned so much about the islands. I was so excited and paired up her subscription with our Essence magazine summer issues! Ahhhh, the memories from the 90s! ❤❤❤❤
Ghana , Africa has the Sankofa bird as a symbol. It means that you can not go forward without knowing where you came from. All African Diasporas must include Ghana in their travels. Ghana, Nigeria, and many other African countries have slave castles where our ancestors were held and waited to get on the ships headed to America. When you mentioned Brazil, you should have included Salvador, Brazil where many descendants of African slaves now live. It’s great to be able to afford to travel the world but please start your travels in Ghana, Africa before going forward.
I have been to Italy - Naples but I was with Italians. I was Ok and I got a lot of unwanted attention from men despite dressing modestly. The only place I have been that I would not recommend for POC is Greece. My cousin and I went with a friend from Greece when we were in University. We went to a club and when we entered you could hear a pin drop. Taxi drivers refused to take us and we were told that food was finished when we could see food because they did not want us to eat in their upscale restaurant. This was in Athens just before they hosted the Olympics in 2004. Anyway, I have cherished the memories as our friend was wonderful to us.
@@gissel3524 The negative comments from black tourists that I read about racism in Italy are usually about Rome, this video mentions Florence. I didn't read many bad things about Florence, Venice and Naples. It looks like the Romans are the ones that are the most racist against blacks and dark skinned people.
@@Rose-MarieHill I guess it all depends on where in Greece you go. I have a couple of friends (from South Africa) who live and work in Greece, they haven't had any problems. They seem okay.
I went to Italy Venice I loved it💕💕I was on vacation so I had a wonderful time. The people were kind, love the food. I could live in Puglia, Italy 💕check it out.
Hmmm why so few African countries on the list....how bout Cape Town, South Africa. Zambia, Zimbabwe, Addis Ababa as an entry then other historic cities in Ethiopia, Morocco, Tunisia, Mauritius, Seychelles and so many others.
Ok, this list is for the passport bros. Cool. But what about black women? I've no interest in Columbia, the Philippines, Italy (highly racist and I'm mouthy and can speak some Italian)...

Lisbon, Portugal (really anywhere in Portugal) should DEFINITELY be on everybody’s list. I can’t WAIT to go back.
@@OrondeBranch agreed! I was there last week and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had as a solo traveler!

I've never been but I heard Italy is NOT a country where POC are welcomed. Have you guys been? is this review based on personal experience.?

Different voice 😊
I can appreciate this normal voice. And not that annoying robotic sounding voice narrating.

Mauritius and Tunisia for POC I strongly disagree with that. Sorry
Omg…. Medellin is pronounced 🗣️ META-JEAN…. jesus. This makes me think you have never actually been there.
